Country Charm B – Pet Friendly Cabin in the City Limits of Helen GA

Close to Main Street, but away from the noise sits Country Charm B, one of the four Country Charm cabins.

This cozy wood cabin has a king bed in the downstairs bedroom and two twin beds in the open loft. The downstairs bathroom features a double sink vanity and a walk-in shower. On those chilly nights, or long days spend your time soaking in the cabin's indoor jetted garden tub. The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen, flat screen TVs and WiFi.

The road from the cabin leads right into town to all the shops and restaurants. After a fun filled day of activities in and around town, you can sit and relax on the large front porch while watching the sun go down. Come experience Helen while staying in this cozy country cabin.

This is a pet-friendly cabin and a one-time per-pet fee will be added if you bring your dog(s). The pet fees that will be added to your reservation are $75 + tax for the first and $25 + tax for each additional.

• Minimum Age Requirement: Country Charm B is available to families or to guests 21 years and older.
• Parking: Space is available for 2 vehicles.
• Access: The road is paved for 1/4 of a mile from Main Street and then turns to dirt and gravel.

Relaxing Vacay

We had the best time staying at Cabin B. The cabin was very clean. There were ample supplies for our stay even though we brought our own. The cabin was great for cooling and heating.

It could be walking distance to downtown, but is uphill to get back. We opted to park in town to walk around. The cabin has been redecorated since the photos were taken. The only change I’d make is there is not fan in the bathroom so the steam has made the walls mildew a little. Being there for Christmas, Helen was full of people so the cabin was a nice, quiet respite from the crowds. We would definitely stay there again!

Cozy Cabin

We did enjoy our stay, the couches were great quality and very comfy. The beds were cozy too. We had water issues, where it would just shut off mid use. It would come back on within a few minutes but you didn’t know when it would happen and it could be mid shower. The maintenance guy came out on my 2nd call to the office and he checked something outside. Whatever he did, increased the water pressure but it did shut off again later. This only happened about 4 or 5 times and we didn’t spend much time in the cabin so it was not that big of a deal just annoying. This property location would be cool if you were traveling with a few other families because it is in a ‘cul de sac’ with 3 other cottages. I didn’t realize that would be the case, but luckily all the cabins were not full. Parking could have been an issue of all the cabins had been full as well. Overall we were happy with several aspects, porch swing, front patio, comfortable furniture, there is a dishwasher, plenty of towels, etc.

Quick trip to Helen

The cabin meet our needs. It was clean and the price was reasonable. While very close to downtown I wouldn’t recommend the distance (and hill) for walking. This did not affect us.

Cute, cozy, a little dated

It’s an adorable little cabin that suited us well for a long weekend in Helen. It’s close enough to the main drag to walk (though a little further than I was anticipating). The beds were comfortable and the living room a nice place to hang out. The bathroom and appliances could use a refresh - everything was quite dated - but everything worked. Weird to have a jacuzzi in a completely non-private spot (a second bathroom would have been a much better use of that space). But overall quite nice and definitely recommended.

Our cabin was not very well taken care of. Musty smelling with worrisome spots on the wood walls (mold/mildew?) The cabin did not feel very clean. Very limited kitchen utensils/cups/plates so bring your own. Very outdated. However, the people Georgia Mountain rentals were very friendly.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Even with short notice GMR was quick to respond. Arrived and found all as described. Express checking info was excellent, no problems with access. Equipped as stated, and over the top with personal touch per our special occasion! Good follow up from GMR concerning our needs. Location was good for us since we wouldn't walk into town anyway, but could be done in 15 minutes. ($5.00 parking for all day, in & out can be found!) Cons: although WIFI is strong the internet and cellular is signal buffers often but no other problem with 1 or 2 bars of cell service. We recommend wearing shoes inside cabin. The floors are well vacuumed but not necessarily thoroughly cleaned. I don't consider the tv situation a GMR problem and the floor did not detract from our stay.(Wore my socks and they wash easily!) Checkout requirements were simple and easy. We will be using this property again! CUDOS TO GMR!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great weekend in Country Charm B!! It’s in a great location, close to everything but feels like it’s far away. The cabin was clean and well equipped. The only thing I would say it needed was a door mat at the kitchen door as it was raining when we arrived and we tracked water onto the floor. The bed was comfortable and the shower was great, two important things for us lol. The reservation process was great and Sherry was very courteous and helpful. I would highly recommend!!!!
