In the Heart of Maggie Valley "A Smoky Mountain Sunset" cabin is only minutes to Ski Cataloochee on Fie Top Rd, or just minutes to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park and the Blue Ridge Parkway. But before you are off to your adventures, enjoy your morning coffee on the covered front porch. At the end of the day, watch the beautiful smoky mountain sunset on that same front porch or retreat to the private back deck and woodlands for your favorite beverage or dinner on the gas grill.

You have 45 minutes to Asheville, 1 hour to Gatlinburg for amazing day trips and enjoy the quaint shops in Waynesville just 20 minutes away.

Your Accommodations: The split bedroom concept gives privacy if needed. The master with king size bed and the second master with queen size bed. A fully equipped kitchen with all you could need, along with full size washer and dryer in laundry/utility room. There are three TVs plus DVD, in case you need a little "down time" and high-speed wireless internet (Wi-Fi) for those who need to be connected. The stone gas log fireplace with remote will set the mood, be it romantic or family memories time.

For reservations that are 30 days or more an additional $100 would be charged for housekeeping.

We absolutely loved the cabin. It was really clean. The layout was great and the views were excellent. The fall colors were beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to stay here again in the future.

The host was understanding regarding our dog situation. The cabin was clean, well stocked, and in a safe area. It is on the Cherokee side of Maggie Valley so very convenient to Cherokee, Maggie Valley, Lake Junaluska, and Waynesville. Would book again.

Stunning Views!

My best friend from Ohio, and her husband, drove down to meet me and my husband from Florida for a week. None of us had ever visited the Smoky Mountains, and our stay couldn’t have been better. The views were beautiful, the drive to Cherokee for several visits were short, and also beautiful, and seeing the elk two days in a row made for a very memorable vacation. We would recommend this cabin to anyone…it was gorgeously decorated and we loved every minute of our stay. Very peaceful, as well!

Our Mountain Trip

My wife and I and our best friends traveled to Maggie valley N.C. for a 3 day stay. We rented this log cabin ASM Sunset in the Cliffs community, It was WONDERFUL, just as described, A great place to stay and very convenient to any location around Maggie Valley, or a nice drive over to Cherokee, beautiful places to see along the way.The Pancake House is great place to eat and also Granny's Kitchen...If you ever rent this place,you would surely rent it again and again..

We enjoyed our stay at Smoky Mountain Sunset. The cabin was clean. Its one level which is great for us older ones. Spent some time rocking on the porch . TV's in both bedrooms as well as living room made it easy for all to watch what we wanted. Close to town for us to shop. We will be back to visit soon.

Perfect getaway

What a gorgeous cabin! This was a much needed getaway for my wife and I. It was the first time we rented a cabin and could not have had a better experience. Amazing views from both the front porch and back yard. We enjoyed using the grill on the deck daily. Our dog was in heaven just listening the the sounds of nature while lounging on the porch. Kathy and Linda thought of everything to make it a perfect stay. We thank you!

Family ski trip

Great little cabin in a perfect location! This cabin worked well for our family of 4 plus one furry friend. Very cozy yet roomy enough as to where you don’t feel on top of each other. This was our second family trip to Maggie valley for skiing. The location couldn’t be better! Just one right turn and less than 10 minutes to the ski lodge. We will definitely come back and stay here again! Thanks for sharing your cabin with us!

Christmas Cabin Getaway

We stayed at the Smoky Mountain Sunset Cabin over Christmas. One of my worries was it would not feel like Christmas. I could not have been more wrong. The cabin was decorated for the holiday and even had the most beautiful tree. It was the postcard perfect holiday. The fireplace is gas and so easy to use, which meant we didn't have to spend time or money on using it. The furniture is so comfy. It has a big front porch where we spent alot of our time. It is well appointed in the kitchen. I was able to prepare Christmas dinner and a couple other meals without having to buy any utensils/pots/pans/dishes. The location is perfect with quick access to the ski slope, blue ridge parkway, down town Waynesville, wheels of time museum and many other must see attractions. There is parking for 3 vehicles. Everything worked as it should. We have pets and it was great for them as well. The owner even had a few pet friendly items in the cabin for guests to use. Our family who live in Maggie Valley came over for Christmas Day and could not have been more impressed. The cabin was the focal point of the week and it delivered 100%.

We loved the cabin, furnishings & views! Kathy responded rapidly to any issues we had. The cabin needs a serious heavy cleaning!! I forgot slippers & walked around first night in socks, big mistake! I mopped floors the next day & again while there. A deep cleaning is needed, windows, screens, window sills between screen & windows!

Quaint/cozy cabin

Great stay, off the beaten path, but not far from main road, restaurant's, etc. Cabin clean, quiet, quaint, cozy and was decorated so cute for the holidays. Definitely recommend staying here.

Nice cabin in good location. Decor was perfect for cabin in the mountains. Kitchen and appliances worked well. Water in showers never got warm enough. Floor in walk in shower was very slippery. Would suggest an anti-slip mat in showers. Toilets could be upgraded to comfort height. Overall, a pleasant stay.
