Historic District Bungalow - Easy Walk to Downtown

Our Bungalow on Baker Street has been a favorite destination since 2014. Private Bungalow on a 1/4-acre lot has been beautifully redecorated and fully modernized. Located in the heart of Mt. Dora on a picturesque and quiet street. It is just a 5-minute walk (0.4) to downtown and all shops. It is 2 bedrooms; one has a queen bed and the other is full size. Also, we have a full-size sleeper sofa. Small dogs are allowed with prior approval. No parties or events allowed.

Conveniently Located for Great Walks

Adorable home close to Downtown Mount Dora and great for walking our pup through the charming neighborhood. Perfect size for the two of us and we enjoyed seeing hawks, owls and hummingbirds while sitting on the back porch enjoying our morning coffee. Definitely would stay again!

Cozy Cottage

What a great little cottage located just steps from downtown Mt. Dora. Loved that it was walkable to everything! The property was clean and well maintained and the host was super responsive and accommodating. I will definitely stay here again. Thanks for a great weekend, Bobby!

Anniversary getaway

Thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay. Baker Bungalow is cute as a button and the location is great for being close to downtown Mount Dora. Owner, Bobby Burnett, couldn’t have been nicer and we would recommend this rental to everyone. Next time we come we will choose a cooler timer of year so we can enjoy walking around more and also the cute porch.

A-Dora-ble Place to Stay

My parents stayed at this adorable bungalow on their most recent visit to the area and were pleased to find a new favorite place to stay when in Mount Dora! From the ease of booking, to pleasant communications with the owner, to the cleanliness of the bungalow and close proximity to town - this rental can't be beat. The added touches of candles, coffee, snacks, etc. were incredibly welcoming and most appreciated. Thank you Bobby for helping make a wonderful family reunion happen!

Best place in Mount Dora

This is the perfect cottage to stay while you are in Mount Dora and hopefully this will be our go-to place to stay when we come back into town. Has everything you need for your weekend stay.... even choices of coffee and tea in the morning. My kids loved the complementary cookies and candies too! The bunk beds worked great and the little patio was perfect to sit outside on a cool winter night. Communication with the owners was great and couldn't have asked for anything more. Thanks again!

One of the nicest Vacation Rentals Ever.

My husband, my small dog, and I have stayed in many vacation rentals. We found this home to be one of our favorites. So clean and updated. The owners left bottled water for us. I also liked that there were some disposable kitchenware. We did not cook at the home and found that these items helpful and we were able to prevent a full dishwater load. Mt Dora Bungalow

Charming Bungalow, great location. Front door coded lock would not work to get in or to leave and lock. Had to go to backdoor to use the keypad, get the key and enter that way. Pretty inconvenient. First 2 nights the TV did not work, kept getting no signal or was stuck on 1 channel, could change the channel or get column, DVD player did not work either. I did not notice until we were driving to the location on Nov 16 2023, our confirmation said we had a pet staying with us, which we did not, I never even inquired about a pet, hope I was not charged a pet fee. Location is great, very short walk to downtown Mt Dora.

This is the most perfect location! So central and great for walking to downtown. We were able to venture out multiple times a day and go home to relax in this precious house. It was beautiful sitting out on the back porch and enjoying the weather and how quiet the neighborhood is. Great to be able to just walk to get breakfast, lunch or dinner! Or eat in since the kitchen is fully equipped. Robert was VERY kind and helpful with booking and the whole stay. Will definitely stay here again.

We loved Bobby’s house. Its location is beyond superb easy walk to town and everything you need to get to. House was extremely clean and everything you wanted was there. He has a great selection of books as well.
