This property has a great deal of character and history. It is exceptionally well prepared by the owner, spotlessly clean and every amenity you can think of is available for use. The location couldn't be better, being just a short walk into the town of Mount Dora. The house also has dedicated/private parking making staying there even easier! The owner's communication, prior to the stay, upon arrival and during the stay was outstanding and just right. We would definitley stay here again. A great place.

Wonderful experience. The house was clean and inviting. We loved sitting on the front porch in the morning drinking coffee and in the evening drinking wine. It is a short walk to downtown that we could walk to go shopping or have a meal. Highly recommend this place.

Comfortable sleeping for six people. Well stocked kitchen. Just stop at the grocery store on your way to the house. large dining room table or multiple restaurants are within a 10 minute walk. The 10 minute walk also includes arriving downtown forshopping in the fine stores of Mount Dora. You will not be disappointed.

Family-Girls weekend

Myself, my 3 daughters and 2 granddaughters absolutely loved the house! Walking distance to Mount Dora shops. We didn’t use our cars during our 2 night /3 day stay. We loved the history of the house. We would book again!

Beautiful Home Close to Everything

This was a beautiful place to stay! The home had everything we needed and the communication with the owner was excellent. We enjoyed walking into town and exploring- it was an easy walk from the home.

Lovely weekend trip

We were very happy with the house. It’s beautiful, clean, well appointed and the proximity to the downtown area is perfect. Our host was very communicative and welcoming. We would definitely stay here again.

Stay was amazing!

Our host James and his wife went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable . The house was immaculate and enough room for me and my family, it was 6 of us and we all were very well taken care of . The host was available at all times . I would definitely choose to stay here again in the future, the location is perfect , you can walk downtown and enjoy the local shops and restaurants.

Girlfriends weekend retreat

The property is absolutely charming and we really enjoyed spending time on the front porch. The layout of the house was great for the six of us and had all the amenities you would need and also immaculately clean. Great location, easy walk to downtown and a 5 minute drive to Renninger's flea market & antique center. James is a wonderful host and we would definitely stay here again.

Perfect for our family

Our adult children stayed there when in town to attend their grandmother's funeral. The location and accommodations were perfect. This property was even better than the photos indicated. This was a great experience.

Absolutely perfect

Words can not express enough how wonderful our stay was in this fabulous home. The home is absolutely perfect in every way possible down to the generosity and friendliness of the owners. They went above and beyond to make sure how stay was perfect and succeeded. The house is gorgeous and spent most of our time on the front porch but every aspect of this home is perfect. Within walking distance to downtown Mt Dora and close to everything else you could possibly need. Already looking forward to booking the house again as it is now our place to stay for our girls shopping getaway. Thank you so much for the fabulous stay and being so gracious with everything we needed.

5 out of 5 - Loved our stay

Overall, 5 out of 5 stars. We absolutely loved our stay. Here are the categories we wanted to highlight. Location: conveniently located near downtown Mt Dora- easy walk to morning coffee, shopping and dining. Another great perk is if you want to venture into Orlando for Disney, Universal, etc, it was a quick 45 minute drive. Enjoy all Orlando has to offer then come back to a quaint little town, away from the chaos and relax at the end of a long day. Accommodations: very comfortable. Nest-like thermostat keep the AC nice and cool for the Florida heat. All the rooms were very comfortable. The mattresses were amazing, great pillows and upgraded linens for the beds and bathrooms. Each room had TVs with access to cable and streaming services. WiFi was great for checking work emails and getting a little work done. The kitchen was outfitted with all we needed and a nice kettle to have our evening tea. There was also a washing machine and dryer so we were able to do all of our wash and come home with clean clothes. There was plenty of parking and a great front porch and balcony off the upstairs room. We really loved this home and the attention to detail the owners put in to making their guests feel comfortable.
