The was a heavy smell of cleaning products, but other than that the stay was lovely! I absolutely adored the screened in porch and views from the property. The house had a nice cozy vibe.
A lovely property exactly what and where we needed. The host was easy to communicate with. The stove in the living room is amazing! A wonderful relic of the past. I'd love to stay in the winter and use it for heat and cooking.
As stated in the description, it’s an old homestead house. It’s a neat, quirky place to stay. Large kitchen and living room that was good for hosting a girls night get together.
The property is very nice. The walking trails were fun to explore. The drive to Hocking Hills was pretty easy. Overall, this property is a great place to stay.
Lots of space. Close in proximity to Hocking Hills State Park. Rustic setting provided for a nice traveling experience off the beaten path. Plenty of room for sleeping arrangements and parking. We enjoyed our stay!
We had a very nice stay. Everything we needed and close enough to the things we wanted to visit, but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. Plenty of room. Hot tub. And comfortable place to stay.
This place is super cute and charming. The use of the space is creative and makes it usable for the whole family. We loved the whole stay. Great hottub, great laundry, good kitchen, soft and cozy beds, and abundant towels. Clean and easy. Great property. Definitely a perfect place to stay for a relaxing weekend, or drive in an hike all of hocking hills or the other parks and forests. Good wifi too! Responsive hosts and amazing place.
The Homestead was PERFECT for our family and for a small after-graduation celebration! The hosts were quick to communicate and even left a personalized note for our arrival. Highly recommend!
Nicely decorated and maintained old Farm old. The hosts were pleasant and available for questions. The unperceived downside was that access to two of the four bedrooms required going through at least one other bedroom!
Plenty of room for everyone to spread out. We had the grandparents (my wife and I), two sets of parents, and three kids 8 and under. Great home base for our short family vacation. Washer and dryer and dishwasher all came in very handy. Our only suggestion might be to replace existing louver doors to the bedrooms with regular solid doors. It's loud for people still sleeping in the morning when someone else gets up first.
We really enjoyed the sleeping arrangements, cozy living room we could all sit together and have fun. My adult kids enjoyed the hot tub and we all enjoyed the fire pit. would recommend for a large family get away!
