Island Winds West is one of the best locations for all activities in Gulf Shores including Hangout Music Festival, Shrimp Festival, Waterville Water Park, Oyster Cook Off, and many restaurants within walking distance.

The condo is Unit 874 located on the top floor of Island Winds West with tile flooring and free Wifi throughout. There are 2 bedrooms each with private bathrooms.

The living area has floor-to-ceiling gulf facing windows with sliding glass doors opening onto the balcony. It has a sectional sleeper sofa, La-Z-Boy rocker recliner, and a 39 inch flat screen television with satellite reception. Also there is a DVD player and a CD stereo player.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all major appliances and quartz countertop. Dining area has table seating for four and kitchen bar has seating for four.

Stack washer and dryer is in the hall closet.

The master bedroom has a cherry wood king size bed and night stand, a flat screen 32 inch television with satellite reception. Master bath has a solid surface vanity top and a tub and shower combination.

The guest bedroom has two full beds, a 32 inch flat screen television with satellite reception, and a DVD player. The guest bathroom has a solid surface vanity top and a tub and shower combination.
On-site paid parking is available and managed by the property's HOA. Parking passes can be purchased upon arrival and are valid for the duration of your stay. Please be sure to display the pass clearly on your driver's side dashboard at all times while on the property.

For the comfort and safety of all guests, U-hauls, trailers, boats, jet skis, buses, and similar vehicles are not permitted on the property.

There were many great things about this property BUT there were some not so many great things too. 1. The burners on the stove don't work very well. We were only able to use 2 out of the 4. 2. The sleeper sofa CANNOT BE SLEPT ON! Not even good enough for young children. It should not be included in the accommodations. One person was able to sleep on the sofa part but the bed part was not usable at all!! 3. Pillows are horribly uncomfortable. Definitely cheap ones from the dollar store!!! 4. Can you please purchase pot holders/oven mitt for the kitchen? Dollar store has them for real cheap!! The location of the condo was great!! The pool area was perfect for our needs! We enjoyed our stay very much. It was roomy and comfy. Very clean upon arrival.

Family friendly just steps from the beach

My family stayed here on our first family vacation since grandchildren were born. Perfect size for our family of 7. We were just steps from the ocean or the pool with an amazing view. The bed could have been more comfortable, but that was the only negative we found.
