The Lily Pad, headwaters of Eden Falls

Enjoy this cozy cabin nestled in the heart of the Ozarks on a 100-acre farm and 3 acre fishing pond. Lily Pad is centrally located for all your upper Buffalo River activities. All the perks of a national park can be sought along with the joys of living on a farm. Watch granny milk each morning and enjoy the butter, eggs, and meat grown right here. This cabin comes with a yard of your own, a fire pit (firewood 5$ an armload), an ice maker, a smart tv with free Wi-Fi, a charcoal grill, and modern plumbing to make this little cabin your home away from home. Directions- Take Firetower road off of highway 43. Go exactly 3.5 miles and turn left on Crossroads road. Pass Crossroads church and stay straight, (do not take Stoverville to the left directly after the church, it takes you to Ponca the back way, down the mountain). Bring your fishing pole for the pond and do not forget to ask about farm raised products including beef, butter, eggs, and more! We do have Pyrenees dogs who watch over the farm, they are harmless and part of the landscape.

The Lily Pad is cute and more well-stocked than some larger vrbos. The drive into the property is gorgeous and peaceful. The views are great. We were comfortable and cozy on a 40 degree mid-spring evenin, plus it was an easy 10 minutes from the BOC downhill parking lot. The Lily Pad was just right for what we needed and I would return.

This location was a little piece of paradise. You get the the seclusion, nature, great views and a farm vibe all in one. The cabin is small, but very cozy and cute. The pond view is lovely. The cows, the chickens and especially the Great Pyrenees dogs were a nice added bonus. The location was fairly close to some great hiking trails and not far from the city of Jasper and some good restaurants there. We really enjoyed our stay, and hope to return one day.

The Lily Pad was perfect for a mom and sons getaway! The cabin was cozy and perfect - we had everything we needed and the setting was amazing! We saw elk every day, and my boys loved fishing in the pond and exploring. It's close to Ponca and some great hiking!

Very clean and neat. Be sure and check the size to make sure it meets your needs because it is pretty small. Enjoyed the pond and even caught a couple fish. Very close to hiking trails and we got to see elk. The host was very nice and brought us wood. It was very relaxing and enjoyable. We enjoyed the campfire.

The drive took us by surprise, but it was worth it. Connie, our hostess, was friendly and accommodating. The pings in front of the cabin was so beautiful and the night sounds were wonderful! A nice place to just relax and enjoy nature. Great view of the Lilly pond from the front porch, very secluded place. Will be a great base for experiencing the Buffalo River, hiking,kayaking and canoeing.The owner is very kind and accommodating a great source for finding places of interest in the area. I would definitely go back to this cabin again.

Nice quiet place to stay. There is however another cabin across from you so you are not 100% by your lonesome. The pond is a little muddy and the cows visit it often. There is a nice dog that comes to visit sometimes.

The pond is still in the process of refilling as we drained to rid it of lily pads and overgrowth. The Wagon Wheel and Lily Pad cabin face different directions, though they are across the road from one another. No one was at the Wagon Wheel while this guest was at the Lily Pad, so Sarah and her husband had the pond to themselves.
