Nice and quiet, with miles of hiking trails. This chalet has GREAT views of Lake Petit and the Mountains. It is about as romantic and you can get! The bedroom has a king bed and the couch in the living room is a sleeper that opens up to a queen bed (great for a child)! Bathroom has a new walk in shower. The kitchen is fully furnished as is the chalet. Just bring the food and wine and your set. The living room has a 54 inch Smart TV which is hooked up to a streaming device if you have Netflix or something like that. There is a 32 inch TV in the bedroom. great short stay
the overall ambience of the cabin and scenery was awesome. upon first entering, it smelled as it has been closed up for a while. However, nothing a can of air fresher and leaving door open to air out; couldn't fix. We had problems with grill, it would not light up, it also was leaking around the connection and has a lot of rust. my suggestion grill needs replacing before next guests arrives. Nonetheless, we greatly enjoyed our stay.

A Soothing Break from the World
Thank you for sharing your beautiful Treetopper cabin. It was the perfect place to sooth my soul after loosing my partner of 5 years. It had everything I needed and the views of the mountains and lake are unrivaled. So sorry I forgot to take out the trash. I plan a return visit in the future.

We visited Big Canoe about ten years ago and fell in love with the area. We bought our home on McElroy Mountain and decided to invest in the community we love. We bought four additional properties and rent them on VRBO. I am also a licensed Real Estate Agent with Harry Norman and would love to show you the community!

Why they chose this property

We purchased this property because of the AWESOME VIEWS! It is also great because of its close proximity to all the amenities. The cabin is small and cozy!

What makes this property unique

Just an hour outside Atlanta is a community unlike any other. The kind of place where you can separate yourself from the pressures of the everyday—and spend time with those who matter most. A place that’s civilized by nature. A mountain retreat that feels like home. This is canoe life. And you’ll only find it at big canoe. Please visit the big canoe web page for more information on this amazing community.
