Bathroom 1: Marble and tile bath, deluxe shower head, separate handheld shower, glass shower door. Bathroom 2: Private bath with tub/shower combination, rain shower head, large floating vanity.
Kitchen: Fully stocked, combination Keurig drip / pod combination coffee maker, all the small electronic gadgets.
Living Area: Bright with lots of natural light, comfortable sofa, and opens to the kitchen.

This is not a typical short-term rental; it is not a renovated dependency or a newly constructed unit in an old neighborhood, nor is it situated on a tiny lot in a questionable or remote area. The old hardwood floors, tall ceilings, original moldings, plasterwork, windows, and doors exude a special warmth, character, and charm that is very difficult to achieve in new construction. The exterior copper roof and guttering provide additional warmth and character. It`s the real deal!

The property is very clean with easy parking. The location is perfect and is walking distance to shops and restaurants. We look forward to visiting again.
Three nights in this perfectly located home was a treat. We spent tons of time on the veranda with our dog and were able to walk all over Charleston so easily. The house is nicely decorated, super clean and comfortable for our 4. Parking was easy and all instructions accurate and clear. Thanks for a wonderful visit.

We absolutely loved this property! It was spacious, beautifully decorated, well stocked and very clean. The location was perfect -- easy to get downtown, easy to get to Mt. Pleasant and elsewhere -- and the area felt very safe and walkable. Plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby. We couldn't recommend it more highly!

Myself and four friends stayed in this apartment and it was perfect. Very spacious and has all the necessities you could think of. We all agreed this was our favorite property we’ve ever stayed in.

Beautifully decorated, amenities were provided, very clean. Enjoyed our outdoor space on the piazza. We could hear the street noise, but it didn’t wake us up.
Wonderful home away from home! Great base camp to enjoy Charleston, the nicest city in the US! Nice details like a throw for a chilly evening on the great porch. Very comfy beds and linens. Nice amenities like the fire pit area and parking. The neighbor hood has a great coffee shop but can get a bit loud on the weekends. All in all- a very good experience!

We bought this property in a group of historic houses on St Philip Street in 1997 and first rented to college students while we travelled throughout Europe on our sailboat for 17 years. During that time the market and the area have changed tremendously. VRBO has opened up the world to vacation renting. This building is in the ideal spot In Charleston as this area has exploded into the favorite restaurant, bar scene in Charleston, in the midst of boutiques and historic sites.
