The private 3 acre property features a 4,000 sq ft home that can sleep up to 14 people.

The property is located on the SD side of Big Stone Lake. Big Stone Lake is 26 miles long and is the boarder between SD and MN. The lake is well know for its great perch and walleye fishing along with its 20+ other species of fish. The property has a private concrete boat access for you and your group to easily but your boats in the lake without running to a public access. You can also fish along the 700 ft of shore front or from the dock. The home is heated for year around use so don’t forget to book out an ice fishing trip as well.

The 4,000 SF brick home is fully furnished with everything you need to relax, cook, and enjoy. The large deck wraps around 3 sides of the home and looks over the beautiful lake. The home features 4 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms on the main level and a bunk room / game room in the lower level. The large master suite has a king bed, tiled shower, Jacuzzi tub and walk in closets. There is an immaculate kitchen overlooking the great room with a stone fireplace.

The property is minuets away from the areas best dining options which include Sodak supper club, Shady Beach Grille, and The Warf. Schmidt’s Landing Resort is right next door where you can get beer, pizza, fishing tackle, bait, cooking essentials, and also has boat and pontoon rentals. You can also check with Schmidt’s Landing for extra rooms if you have a larger group.

The property is 10 Minuets from Milbank, SD, 10 Minuets from Big Stone, SD, 15 Minuets from Ortonville, MN, 1 hr from Watertown, SD, 2 hrs from Sioux Falls, SD, 2 hrs from Fargo, ND, and 3 ½ hrs for Minneapolis, MN. Milbank and Ortonville have public golf courses.

Great Lake view home

Very large beautiful home, 3 car garage very handy to put toys overnight. Large well equipped kitchen with large dining table. Air conditioning worked good, bedrooms was bathrooms were clean and comfortable. Lake views were amazing both from inside thru huge windows and from wrap around porch. Kids enjoyed using the kayaks and swimming in lake and had a nice dock there for your boat. A good home and would rate it a strong 4 stars.

Beautiful home.

This is a beautiful home on Big Stone Lake. It is very roomy and up to date. The deck could use some updating but it didn’t stop us from any activity we wanted to do. We had planned for 8 adults and 7 children age 5 or less. There was plenty of room. The boat ramp by the home was very convenient. The owner was very responsive if we had questions. We had a great time. We would stay again.
