This house v was one of my favorite houses we ever rented. The owner was quick to communicate if we needed anything. We had all ages from 67 to not quite a yr. The pool was amazing. I would highly recommend

Everything about this house was excellent. The place very clean. Bathrooms very spacious just needed a few racks to hang a towel. The pool, the hot tub was wonderful. The elevator was definitely a plus for our group of ladies, I had a few that had walkers , and that was such a great help to me getting everyone and everything up to the first floor. The Host to the house was very spontaneous to respond and if you had any questions. He was very helpful and very friendly and pleasant to talk with.I would definitely inquire of this house again.Plenty of space for a big group or family time together. Definitely pleased with our stay.

Perfect for large groups

We had a family reunion here and it was a blast! The house had everything we needed, and the location was amazing. So close to the ocean, great beach town. We will definitely stay again!

Great house for big group!

We had a wonderful stay! There was plenty of room, loved the pool and hot tub, short walk (about 2 blocks) to the beach, and walkable to coffee, restaurant, surf shop, etc. Would definitely stay again!

It was as good as advertised, plenty of room to relax after a long day at the beach. Very good kitchen with the double refrigerator’s & microwave’s extra large stove. Just a great place for our group.

Family Memorial Day weekend trip

We loved our stay in Oak Island! The house was wonderful for our large family and the pool area was beautiful. Larry was very attentive and we hope to stay there again someday!

The Sandcastle was a perfect home for our family gathering of 22 (14 adults and 8 children). The 9 bedrooms, 6-1/2 bathrooms, and enough parking spaces for our 7 vehicles were just right. The main floor with the kitchen, dining areas, and living room were big enough to for all of us to spread out and not feel cramped. We loved the kitchen! The commercial stove/oven was perfect for cooking dinners every night. The warming shelf with heat-lamps was an unexpected perk. We made use of the 2 dishwashers everyday. The kitchen was stocked with enough dishes, cups, mugs, silverware, pots, pans, bakeware, etc. for all our meals. The 2 refrigerators made food organization easy. The outdoor pool was nice, but most of us enjoyed the hot tub more. The weather cooperated; we were able to walk to the beach and spend most of the afternoons there. We even brought my 90-something year-old mom to the beach. The Oak Island Rec Center had a beach wheelchair that we reserved for the week. It was free with a refundable deposit. Communication with Larry and his wife was excellent. They always replied quickly. Larry even came over right away to fix minor issues. The sheets and towels were wrapped in plastic, ensuring that they were clean and fresh. We didn’t mind having to make all the beds.We brought our own beach towels, shampoo, and soap. They were not provided. We had to buy more toilet paper, paper towels & napkins, and dishwasher and laundry detergent, since we were there for a week.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. Excellent location on Oak Island, house is clean, kitchen appliances are fantastic, backyard with pool and hot tub is wonderful. Highly recommend this place!

The house is beautiful and clean. The owners are extremely friendly, and genuinely want you to have a comfortable stay. A little more attention to the small details will go a long way is making this a five-star property. Specifically, a little more attention to the kitchen small appliances, better quality knives (dull knives are very dangerous), and other small details. Provide toilet paper and paper towels.
