Nestled in the walkable Sheridan Beach area of Northern Indiana’s gorgeous and expansive lakeshore along Lake Michigan. Comfortably sleeps 12 - 14 with the perfect amount of space to get together and getaway to your own private spaces. 

You can expect your stay to be hassle free with fresh linens, contactless entry, a fully stocked kitchen and ready-to-go beach supplies (beach towels, chairs and beach toys), a gas grill with dedicated gas line, extra-large deck with outdoor patio table seating 8,  fire pit for making Smores,  Keurig coffee maker, FAST and strong Wifi, Smart TVs, Pack n Play and second floor laundry. Property was clean and ready for us with all the extras waiting (TP, laundry soap, DW soap, hand soap, paper towels, utensils, salt/pepper etc.) Front porch was spacious enough for all of us and the fire pit was great in the evening. Great location with easy access to the beach.

Easy rental and close to the beach

There are some needed updates, like the TVs in the bedrooms (which are still tube TVs) and the grill cooked kind of unevenly, but this property was a great getaway for my family. It was very close to the beach. Everything about this trip was easy.

Lake Michigan Family Vacation

First family vacation with kids and grandkids and everything was great. We loved the house! any questions were promptly answered. Close to beach, zoo and parks. Definitely would recommend!

Great house for a family get-together

Nice stay

It was a nice stay, a short walk to the lake. The check out rules need to lighten up some, and not threaten to charge more if somethings aren't done. I understand some things need to get done, but you pay a pricey cleaning fee.

Really cute and clean! Well stocked kitchen. King size bedroom was large and could easily accommodate a baby crib if needed. Had its own dedicated tv. Loved the outdoor deck with grill that has gas hook up! Outdoor shower. Nice size baths and bedrooms. Downsides: Didn't like the big boulder rocks that outline the driveway on Lake shore drive. It is an eat-in-kitchen that can seat 8, but not any other space to eat other than out on deck. Could do a folded card table in living room.

I don't like the boulders either but then they were not there people parked in our drive way and go to the beach. We want to be sure that it is clearly marked as private for our renters. Great location

Wonderful sibling reunion! Grateful for a nice place to reminisce, rest, play, and build new memories. We dealt with a couple of difficulties, however. The TV instructions were minimal, and several intelligent members of our group struggled with its operation. The upstairs thermostat and/or air conditioner was not working correctly, as the temp remained very warm during our stay. Overall, we enjoyed our visit to Michigan City very much. Thank you!

Great long weekend getaway

We had an awesome time at the cottage! We met some good friends and their children for a quick weekend getaway. Between the 2 families we had 6 children between the ages of 4 and 9. There was plenty of room and we appreciated the house being relatively kid friendly. There was a super cute zoo less than a 1/2 mile walk away and great beach access about 2 blocks away. It was a perfect location! The house had everything we needed and despite other reviews we found the check out requirements extremely reasonable. The one time we had to contact the property manager about a minor issue with the grill, she was super prompt and courteous in her response. Would definitely stay there again!

Nice property with a few small shortcomings

The property is great. Located 3 minutes from the beach. Amenities were great. Lots of extra items ready for use. Beach chairs, beach towels, toys, fire pit, grill. The biggest let down was that the outdoor shower was not hooked up. It would have been nice to rinse the sand off of my kids with warm water before going inside. The beach wagon had a busted tire and was not usable. Also, the check-out instructions were very specific and a bit uptight. Mandating that all beach towels are washed and folded, all bedding removed from the beds and placed near washing machine, mandating that two loads of laundry be started before leaving. I understand the intent of the requests, and the place is great; however, for the price paid I would like a little more lax policy on linens/towels or at least a better tone to the check-out instructions. 5 separate bedroom spaces, 10 beds all said and done. Perfect for large getaway. Would stay again.

Fun in the SUN!!!

Our group really enjoyed this house! Lots of bedrooms, could use another bathroom - but we made it work. The beach is very close and stunning! There was plenty of everything that we needed. Thanks for providing the beach chairs and wagon, that helped with the trek to and from the beach. We loved our time there!

Nice place to stay at the beach!

The home is clean with a well stocked kitchen. Furniture is dated, but not uncomfortable. We had an issue with getting the gas fireplace started consistently. Would have appreciated knowing in advance to bring TP and hand soap. But otherwise this is a great place for a family getaway! Be sure to check out the outlet mall!

This property was great for the Christmas gathering of our family and grandchildren

We had plenty of sleeping space with 5 bedrooms. The downstairs bedroom became the main play room for the kids. Only suggestion would be that cleaning staff provide extra trash bags for kitchen and additional toilet paper. The boxes of tissue were appreciated since this is the season of cold!

Loved the house

We stayed at the house for our daughters wedding. We loved it. It has beds for like 14 or something, it’s crazy. We only used like 5, people ended up crashing at other houses after parties. So we had so much more room for activities. We would stay there again. It was super clean. Highly recommend.

It was a neighbors weekend with 6 ladies. We loved the location and all the space in the home.
