The Horus BioClimatic Suite - NATURAL LODGE DALAAL DIAM
Dalaal diam village is an "authentic" lodge planted like an oasis in a wooded area of 8 ha, in a grassy savannah, dotted with Acacias, palm trees, Baobabs ...
The concept of Natural Lodge allows electricity and water consumption to be available, but not at will.
Several accommodation with different accommodation capacities will be offered (accommodation for 2, 4 or 6 people).
The Horus bioclimatic Suite has an area of 130m2.
Composed of 2 bedrooms with 2 double beds and 2 single beds on the mezzanine (ideally for children). Beds protected by mosquito nets, fans available.
An entrance with anti-insect airlock and pediluve, an integrated lounge and an aquatic lounge, unequipped kitchen, a bathroom with shower and toilet. Electric water heater (on request).
Optional TV.
No kitchen in the accommodation. Lounge restaurant at your disposal 300m away.

Un weekend en brousse tout confort!
Un bonheur de se réveiller au chant des oiseaux et de s’endormir en écoutant les chacals, bien loin de la pollution et du bruit de Dakar. La Villa Horus est immense et lumineuse, et encore nous n’avons pas essayé le loft en hauteur avec vue sur tous les côtés. Au restaurant le Virunga on y fait bien plus que manger, les transats, la terrasse et la collection de BD nous donnent envie d’y passer la journée, et la vue sur la petite lagune de la Somone et ses oiseaux est magnifique. La cuisine de Aïda était tout simplement excellente, gratin dauphinois, rôti d’agneau, couscous, polpette, poisson frais... divin!
Côté pratique, le gîte se situe à quelques minutes de piste du village de Somone (plage, bateau, village artisanale), et à 20 min. de la réserve de Bandia et Accro Baobab. 90 min. depuis le centre de Dakar par l'autoroute. Les gîtes sont équipés (draps, serviettes, vaisselles), matelas confortables, électricité à partir de 18h (donc pas de frigo), et eau chaude sur demande. La poussière est inévitable. Nous étions à la Villa Horus, très bien protégée des moustiques.
