This quaint, beachy, two-bedroom home is centrally located in Bay Park and is just minutes from Downtown, Pacific Beach, Ocean Beach, Old Town, La Jolla, local beaches, SeaWorld, Mission Bay the SD Zoo & other popular attractions. Easy access to outdoor activities such as running, surfing, biking, boating, water skiing, paddle boarding, kayaking & more! Property offers a large backyard space with a BBQ, Hot Tub, outdoor dining table, and heaters for comfort year - round!
NOTE: Fire pit in pictures in no longer a feature starting December 2024 through April 2025. Outside dining and Jacuzzi are still available.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
CURFEW: Guests MUST be out of the jacuzzi and off the patio by 10:00 PM. This is out of respect to our neighbors and community. All activities must go inside at 10:00 pm.

ADDITIONAL NOTE:
There is a second, short term, unit on the property. There is NO shared space and there are two completely different entrances providing privacy for all.
The backyard space pace is designated only for guests in this house, not for guests in the back unit.

Perfect for our family vacation

This was the perfect home for our family vacation, it had everything needed and the location was perfect for those mornings/evenings when we wanted to visit the neighborhood restaurants. Stacey & Matt Praizner were great hosts, their home is clean, comfortable and ideal for small families. We definitely plan to stay here again.

A Little Slice of San Diego Heaven

We had the best stay at the Baywatch Bungalow! The location was absolutely ideal to everything in the area! The best part, though, was the beautifully landscaped yard and the wonderful hot tub that we enjoyed every night!We loved cooking in the kitchen that had everything to accommodate to quac and ceviche, to name a few of the things that we made!The mornings on the couch and the evenings in the lazy boy made it feel just like home! We would recommend to anyone and will certainly plan on coming back!

Clean and comfortable

The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. It got a little warm at night so we appreciated having the AC units in the master bedroom and family room. We were close to everything…the zoo and beaches. We would definitely stay here again.

Family fun

This property was just the right size for a family of five. The backyard was beautiful and the hot tub was amazing after a long day in San Diego. The owners were easy to get a hold of, and the home was very clean.

Fun little getaway

Me, my wife, and our toddler stayed here for almost a week. It was the perfect location and setup up for our little family getaway. Close to the beach and attractions, but also located on a quiet street. No problems with the street parking in front of the house. Beds were comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

This house was perfect for our family. It's centrally located to all the places we wanted to visit. We cooked a lot of meals and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and more. The hot tub was nice after long days walking the beaches and Balboa park. We would book again

Loved our stay!

My family and I stayed here and loved our stay! The neighborhood is really cute, and nearby some really good coffee shops. It’s very close to the beach, zoo, and all major attractions. The beds were so comfortable, and everything worked great. The host was so easy to communicate with, and very accommodating! The backyard is beautiful, and loved the spa. We will be return guests when we return to the area. Very cute home!

We just stayed here with our young family. The backyard is an oasis! The pictures of the house are up to date and accurate. The neighborhood is safe, friendly, and close to a lot of hot spots! The management team is wonderful at communication and made our home experience wonderful and stress-free!

Great place to stay when visiting San Diego

This house was the perfect place for our family of 5 to stay during our week long stay in San Diego. Matt & Stacey were fantastic hosts who were always available to answer questions. We found the house to be in a great location for our visit which included trips to Legoland, the zoo, Seaworld, Old Town, Petco Park and a quick day trip to Julian. We loved coming back in the evening and being able to relax in the hot tub and/or sit around the fire pit. My kids said they want to stay at the same house the next time we come to San Diego and I can't blame them.

One of the best rentals ever!

We LOVED staying here! The house is great and the owners are fantastic to work with. They were very welcoming and accommodating. They provided all sorts of extras which was very nice. The house is the perfect location. It’s minutes from Sea World, Old Town, and beautiful beaches. The backyard is gorgeous and the hot tub was nice to relax in at the end of a long day. Beach towels and toys were provided as well. We can’t say enough good about this home and owners. Thank you for having us and helping us make great memories with our kids!!

Wonderful stay

The house was very clean and the kitchen is very well stocked! They have plenty of serving dishes, appliances and tupperware to make your stay comfortable. The property is labeled well so we could find all switches for lights etc. The host was very responsive to my questions before and during the stay. Pnly thing is that the second bed looks to be a double. I am a dork that has a tape measurer in her purse (yay house projects!) and the bed was not 60 inches wide. This was a little awkward for sleeping with another adult. We will definitely return again in the future. Thanks so much!

Weekend in San Diego

We arrived on Thursday and stayed until Sunday morning. The accommodations were just great. The house had two bedrooms and one bath. Which worked out just fine. There were extra clean linens, plenty of dishes, glassware, and cooking pans and utensils. Everything was clean and in good order. We appreciated having a coffee pot for our morning fix. The backyard was quiet, peaceful and welcoming. We never made it into the jacuzzi , but glad to know it was available. The neighborhood was quiet, with neighbors out walking and out for a morning jog. Both check in and check out instructions, were clear and easy to follow. Our hosts welcomed us by text when we arrived and were easy to contact during our stay. Maybe it was lack if due diligence on my part, but we didn’t realize there was no cable TV. It didn’t change much for us, but still nice to know. And we did miss not being in a location that we could walk to breakfast. All in all a nice place to stay and will consider it again on any future visits to San Diego.

Perfect Stay!

My family stayed at Stacey and Matt's home in August and it was the perfect spot. Everything was meticulously clean, with ample towels and linens. Well stocked with anything we could need. Backyard was a much welcomed retreat after long days of walking and sightseeing and was a very peaceful start to (and end of) the day. We appreciated the AC in the bedroom and living area - kept the home cool. Parking was easy. Neighborhood was safe and quiet. Close to all the main sites. Communication with hosts was easy - very responsive. Hope to stay here on our next trip out! This is a gem!!

Matt is a retired Captain from San Diego Fire Department and Stacey was a Flight Attendant. We retired in 2020 and are very happy with our decision.

We love to travel, surf, ski, golf, camp, eat (we’re serious foodies), drink wine and go on new adventures! We look forward to sharing our house and neighborhood with you. Our house is quaint, beachy and comfortable. It includes an outdoor patio setting which has a table for six people, a fire pit, a new Jacuzzi and a lush garden setting for your enjoyment. We love sharing our space with new visitors along with introducing people to our great city. Come visit us in San Diego, “America’s Finest City”!
