About Ligia da Rocha Oliveira dos Santos
My name is Lígia Santos, I am married with three children and I am an engineering geologist. I have always loved sport very much: I play volleyball, I do a lot of jogging and biking and have recently taken up rowing in the River Douro, so exciting!! I am frequently a tourist in my home town. Oporto is a small town, where life is enjoyable and the River Douro meets the sea. As my children are a bit older now, I feel more comfortable about going out at night and meet my friends in downtown Porto, where we have so much fun in beautiful restaurants and restored cafes from another time. I am very happy with my guests. They always leave the apartment perfect and I am grateful for their generous reviews.

Very nice host
Great place great location
Nice place with 78 steps to our penthouse. Luisa is very friendly and informative. A great apartment for 4 or more people . We walked to every place we wanted to go
Hosts were very accommodating and helpful, helped organize transfers and advise on activities and dining. Thanks You!
The R. Sao Miguel apartment was the perfect fit for our family of three. Luisa greeted us with such friendliness and enthusiasm. The views from the apartment are spectacular! The apartment was spotless and had all the essentials. I would definitely recommend staying here. Just an aside, the apartment is on the fourth floor, no elevator. We didn't care (great way to work off all the Port wine we sampled) but it could be an issue for some.
Excellent old town location
Loved the location, played safe with shuttling the car around parking places - end of the street is cheap 2-hour max parking and free 7pm-9am. At the start or the end of the day we’d parkfor a euro or two until it was free. During the day sometimes used the Parque de Lisboa depending on car use (note if you go to the attendant inside they offer a €25 in & out 24 hour rate if you prefer managed parking).
Good restaurant and bakery recommendations from Luisa, although I used the bakery Confeitaria Sao Domingos for chocolate croissants for the kids (also note the probably good breakfast places do not open until 9am).
We greatly enjoyed our brief stay in Porto. The location was perfect for walking around and exploring. Luisa was wonderful and very responsive to any/all of our questions. We only wish we had more time in Porto to see more of the city.
