The property was great. Exactly as shown. The only thing that could be clarified is that the property is not on the street, there is a short 50 yd walkway to the property, which is great in that it is more quiet if you have windows open.
Great location but finding a parking space near the villa was sometimes difficult.the villa was spacious and well equipped with all necessities.the pool area is cramped with high surrounding walls. This ensured privacy but limited sunshine on the area.Overall it is a great villa.

Well equipped, clean, lovely pool.
We had a lovely holiday, villa was lovey , very spacious, clean.
Great bakers round the corner where you can have your dinner cooked, roast lamb, pork, chicken and all the veg, great value at 8 euros. 10 mins from Ramla bay by car. We ate out most nights in different villages. Kids did try dive with bubbles in Marsalforn, brilliant value for money.

Beautiful
What an incredible place to stay on the beautiful island of Gozo. We had an amazing time, the house was spotless and the staff were so friendly and responded really quickly when we ask for a high chair last minute.
Gozo itself is a great place to visit, lots of history and stunning coastline.
We will definitely be back. The kids are really missing the pool. It was so safe and private we never had to worry about them.
Thank you so much x
Nothing, you were spot on

Our second stay with Baron, and definitely not the last
Both farmhouses we stayed at were very clean. We also really appreciate the little touches, like having washing machine and dishwasher tablets, garbage bags, sachets of tea, sugar, and coffee, and other small things like this. We also appreciated the open line with Tracey, and being given the go-ahead to check out later, since there weren't any other bookings directly following ours.
We ordered a bag of wood, but had great difficulty lighting the wood in the furnace. Maybe we should have been given some starter pellets or chemical to light up the fire successfully?
The house is beautiful. It's not a good idea to book it during winter season. No basic things provided on arrival such as milk or sugar to make a hot cup of tea, no matches or fire starter or instruction to start the fire in the front room as there is no other heating except that, I had not enough euro coins or the balance left in the meter unit to keep the bedrooms heated the first night of arriving into the cold December nights. Inadequate provision for the kitchen, not enough pots and pans to cook a decent meal for a group of five. Plates with chipped edges are among them. No scissors in the kitchen Microwave is hazardous with a broken edge on the rotating glass plate. It was a struggle to light the fire every night to keep the living room area warm. Other than those complaints, it was ok.

Dear ,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad to hear you found the house beautiful, but we’re truly sorry to learn that your stay did not fully meet your expectations.
We take your concerns seriously and would like to address them:
1.
We understand that heating is essential during the colder months. We’ll review our heating setup and instructions to ensure guests have a smoother experience. We’re also re-evaluating the coin meter system to ensure better preparation for arrivals.
2.
We apologize for the lack of basic provisions like milk, sugar, and fire-starting tools. These are typically included in our welcome pack, and we will ensure this oversight doesn’t happen again.
3.
Your feedback about the kitchen equipment, including pots, pans, chipped plates, and the missing scissors, has been noted. We will immediately replenish and upgrade our kitchen inventory to meet the needs of larger groups.
We sincerely apologize for the inconveniences you faced and appreciate your honest feedback. It allows us to make the necessary improvements to enhance the experience for future guests.
Thank you once again for staying with us, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future with a much-improved experience.

We were really excited about our trip to Gozo, but unfortunately this villa fell far short of expectations. The property was unclean throughout from the moment we arrived. Cupboard handles and even the TV remote were sticky, the showers were dirty to the point we chose to wash outside, and there was old food left under the furniture.Things went from bad to worse when we discovered mice inside. After pest control was called, we then had dead mice to deal with. On top of that, ants were everywhere. Beds and furniture were old, uncomfortable, and in desperate need of new mattresses. Outside, one of the sun loungers was positioned right next to a drain hole full of foul-smelling waste — not exactly the relaxing holiday vibe we’d hoped for.Check-in was another frustration. After a long journey, we couldn’t access the villa until 3pm. We offered to wait by the pool, but were told we weren’t allowed, so we had to drag our luggage around the village with nothing open — uncomfortable and not guest-friendly. The one positive was the privacy of the location, which is why we stayed put even after they offered to move us following the mouse incident (the alternative villa was much less private and too far away). The staff did apologise repeatedly, but apologies don’t make up for such a consistently poor experience.Sadly, this villa needs a complete overhaul in cleanliness, maintenance, before it could be recommended. Until then, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

Dear guest,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are truly sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. Please know that throughout your stay we did our very best to assist you whenever issues were raised.
Regarding the airport transfer, we had offered this service weeks in advance, but as we did not receive a confirmation, there was unfortunately no last-minute availability on the night of your arrival. We therefore suggested a local taxi service as an alternative.
On the day of check-in, although our policy clearly states 3 PM, and you arrived with your luggage at 0130pm, we tried to accommodate you earlier at 2:30 PM. As we didn’t receive a reply until after 3 PM, we understood that you had returned to the harbour and would check in later.
When you contacted us about the hygienic state and reported signs of mice two days into your stay, we immediately sent our staff to take action. Had we been informed right upon arrival, we could have addressed the matter more promptly.
We genuinely regret that despite our efforts you remained dissatisfied. We always strive to make our guests feel welcome and comfortable, and we will continue working to improve further.
Kind regards,
Donald

We had a wonderful, relaxing week here
Very comfortable, with good pool and fully stocked kitchen. Short walk into small town with a number of small shops and two excellent restaurants. Bakery two-three minutes down street. Bus stop 5 minutes from house. Frequent buses to harbor / ferry port (10 minutes), larger city of Victoria (15 minutes) and beaches (20 minutes). We had a wonderful, relaxing week here.
Three friends and I wanted a relaxing getaway to Malta and we were not disappointed! The villa was clean, quiet, and updated. We loved using the pool and sunloungers. The check-in/ check-out processes were easy, and getting in touch with management was a breeze. The town of Nadur has a pleasant town square with a few restaurants, a bar, and a coffee shop (which serves drinks in the evening as well). I also appreciated the help provided prior to arrival RE booking airport transfers, events, etc.
The two things that were not ideal were:
1. In Malta they separate their trash and have trash pick-up everyday (which is awesome!). However, we were a bit confused on the expectation to take out the trash everyday, and did not think there were enough trash bags (nor were they large enough) to accommodate 4 grown adults trash.
2. The bus system in Malta/Gozo is lauded to be outstanding on pretty much every travel website out there. However, coming from a large city where buses come reliably every 5-10 minutes on most routes, we found that the buses were hard to use (coming every 45-90 min). We also had a few occasions where the buses did not show up on time, and we waited for 20+ minutes before giving up. Not a reflection of the property, but I recommend booking a rental car if you want to see more of Gozo / eat outside of Nadur any nights. That being said the bus to Ramla Bay WAS the easiest to catch & the stops are near the Villa, which is very convenient.
