About this property

Cozy Cottage at The Cabins

A one bedroom cottage in historic Westbrook, a quaint shoreline community on the banks of Long Island Sound, halfway between New York and Boston. This fully furnished cottage features 1 bedroom with queen bed (can be changed to 2 twins for a slight fee), 1 bathroom, living room and eat-in kitchen. Included are satellite TV, WIFI internet, Chromecast for casting from your phone, washer/dryer, and air conditioning. Also included is a beach pass allowing the guest the same beach parking and access privileges that all Westbrook residents enjoy.

The cottage is located at The Cabins directly on US Route 1 (1881 Boston Post Road) and within easy access to shops, dining and water activities in the immediate area. Maximum occupancy is 2 persons. Pets are welcome, however since we strive to maintain extremely high cleaning standards for everyone, pets require special disposition. There is an additional cleaning fee, and we limit pets to one small or medium sized animal. If you are interested in bringing more than one pet or a large animal, please contact us beforehand to make proper arrangements. Please note that if you bring a pet and do not pay the cleaning fee in advance, you are subject to forfeiting some or all of your deposit.

Off-season extended stays are negotiable. Stays of 5 weeks or longer always receive a discount - please contact us for more info.

Amazing place to stay

After getting used to the horse chestnuts falling from the tree and hitting the roof we loved the place! Clean, very clean! Quiet inside. Mattress comfortable, but the springs under were bouncy. That's the only thing I would change, but we still slept well. It had everything we needed. Lots of hot water, good shower pressure. The kitchen had good pots and pans, which was appreciated. And a washer/dryer!

Perfect Cozy Cottage

Cottage was completely clean as a whistle....had all modern amenities...and was walking distance to the beach....and a short drive from all the stores./ pubs. Internet service worked perfectly...and the TV, and supply of books was awesome. The owner was solid on communication...zero stress in working with with him. I'll rent again....most definitely. Great stay.

The property was super clean and well equipped. Karl is an excellent property owner. He's always available for questions or anything you need. He stopped by the day after we arrived to make sure everything was to our liking. We told him that the bed was very uncomfortable. He immediately replaced the box spring and mattress. I definitely recommend this property

GREAT PLACE!!! I spent two weeks here as I had to be in the area for a business obligation. The cottage was immaculate and appears to have been recently redone. The AC works great when needed. The lovely beach is a five-minute drive and you are provided with a pass. The owner is a very nice guy. Can’t recommend the place highly enough (and I’ve left some very cranky reviews in my time).

This is a small one bedroom cottage which i found to be clean and well stocked. It's close to grocery, shopping and was the perfect location for my needs. Owner was nice.

We have stayed here before and will keep coming back! The location is very convenient. The cabin was spotless, comfortable and even had some treats in the refrigerator for us. The owner is always responsive and helpful.

Loved the cottage. It is very clean and in good repair. What is especially notable is the decorative touches. The decor lends to the "coziness" and feeling of being "home". Everything from the floral comforter to the extra blanket and the extra goodies in the refrigerator just added to the welcoming feeling. And it was absolutely immaculate. The owner was enormously helpful and available to answer any questions . I highly recommend this cottage!

Amazing Stay

This place feels like home. It is so cute and cozy but you dont feel squeezed in a box. Plenty of room. Exceptionally clean and host was awesome. Will be coming back for sure.
