Pretty country house at the foot of the Luberon in Castellet.

Charming house in a small authentic village, near the Luberon mountain. Private parking and shaded garden, enclosed and equipped with a garden furniture offering a peaceful moment under its bicentennial lime tree and the song of the big fountain of the village. This rental can accommodate 4 people. The ground floor includes a living room of 30m2 with fitted kitchen, stone fireplace, TV / internet, a stove with 2 gas and electric ovens, dishwasher, microwave and 1 fridge. 1 bathroom with shower and wc. 1 laundry room with washing machine and a second fridge. 1 bedroom of 25m2 with two single beds which opens onto the terrace. A stone staircase leads upstairs where there are: 1 large bedroom of 30 m2 with 160 cm bed and 1 bathroom with bath and wc. Possibility of providing a cot with high chair, pushchair-cane bathtub at no extra charge. The living area is approximately 115m2. Pets not allowed. Sheets possible € 10 / bed for the stay.
Close to Saint-Eusèbe Abbey in Saignon.

Pared-back luxurious simplicity

A great deal of knowledge and thought has gone into curating the interior of this property. Beautiful domestic objects, hand-sewn old linen curtains etc and a very high standard of finish throughout. The church bell still tolls in this tranquil medieval hamlet and the swallows dart overhead. Wonderful peace. The Luberon in all its May splendour, cherries ripening, lavender fields being ploughed. A house for those looking for the authentic. Yes, it does still exist.

Maison aménagée avec beaucoup de goût, situé dans un petit village idyllique, à l'écart des routes. Pour nos excursions (p.e. Avignon, Pont du Gard, Aix) un peux trop loin - certainement idéal pour tous ceux qui aiment les excursions en particulier dans le Luberon. Des hôtes très sympathiques et bienveillantes.

Wonderful oasis with great view and outside space

We had a terrific three week stay here during the heat of August 22 - and we so grateful for the wonderful large tree that provided (relatively!) cool shade in the outside area. Lounging on the sofas was all we wanted to do some days - and what a great place to unwind and relax. The online photos do not do the house justice, the kitchen area and master bedroom are wonderful, although we did have to move the TV in order to be able to watch it from the sofa. The upstairs bedroom was also pretty hot because of the heatwave, so it would have been good if more than one window had had a mosquito net so that they could be opened at night for much needed air. Lovely spacious house though and Gilles was wonderful at responding to emails and dealing with any issues/questions we had. Really recommend this place if you're looking for a haven away from the more touristy parts of the Luberon, but with lots of interesting places to visit and places to dine within easy reach. Tip 1 check out Johanna's vegan café/ restaurant a 1 minute walk from the house! Tip 2: make sure you get the name of the property from Gilles so you can put that into google maps - rather than the street and number which doesn't show up!

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine à Castellet, joli petit village bien situé, proche d'Apt et de Saignon. La maison était très agréable à vivre, ainsi que les moments de vies sous le tilleul, au bruit des cigales. La vue depuis le jardin est magnifique. Lors de grosse chaleur, ce qui c'est produit pour nous, prévoir de bien aérer matin et soir, et de laisser fermer les volets et rideaux pour conserver un maximum de fraicheur dans la journée. Très belle adresse au Castellet en Lubéron

Nous venons de passer 2 semaines au Castellet en Lubéron avec nos deux enfants de 10 ans et 7 ans; Nous recommandons vivement ce gite dans ce joli village qui bénéficie d'un magnifique environnement et qui est très bien situé par rapport aux sites touristiques du Lubéron. N'oubliez pas d'emprunter la route touristique entre APT et Castellet !!! Le mas est très confortable et reposant avec son jardin provençal sans oublier la jolie vue. Le mas a répondu parfaitement à nos attentes. J'aimerai surtout remercier chaleureusement Gilles, Carine et leurs familles pour leur gentillesse et la qualité de leur accueil. Merci pour vos précieux conseils et échanges en général.

Formidable séjour à Castellet-en-Lubéron !

Nous avons passé un séjour particulièrement agréable dans la maison de Carine et Gilles. Ils sont tous deux très sympathiques et disponibles. La maison a beaucoup de charme. Elle est belle, bien entretenue, agréable à vivre, on s'y sent tout de suite chez soi. Le village est les environs sont tout simplement un bonheur. Wunderschönes Haus in toller Umgebung

Traumhafte Lage, nächste größere Stadt 15 Min entfernt. Wunderbar für Tagesausflüge in die Region. Sehr schönes Haus, sehr gut ausgestattet. Wir haben unsere Zeit in Castellet sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder.

A perfect getaway

We love this villa. Gilles is a great host and gentleman. . The villa is well set up and is perfect for visiting other must-see viillages. With a great view of the Luberon and the distant alps it is a great place to get away from more tourists.filled villages. Gilles (and Carine) have done a great job making the villa comfortable and I look forward to heading back for a longer visit as soon as we can. I recommend this villa completely. Gemütliches Haus in absolut ruhiger Lage

Das gemütliche Häuschen ist sehr liebevoll ausgestattet. Lediglich die Sitzgruppe im unteren Schlafzimmer passt optisch nicht so ganz ins hübsche Gesamtbild. Die Lage mitten im Ort garantiert absolute Ruhe. Der schöne Garten lädt zum entspannen ein. Von Castellet aus kann man viele schöne Tagesausflüge und Wanderungen unternehmen. Ein Bistro oder eine Bar würde Castellet gut tun. Wir haben einen traumhaft schönen Urlaub bei Carine und Gille verbracht.

Un véritable petit paradis

La source d’eau qui coule, les cloches de la petite chapelle, les odeurs de lavande, les fleurs, la rosée du matin, l’intérieur de la maison typique du pays, le mobilier.... Pas de doute on est au Lubéron et AU CALME. Quand à l’accueil et les propriétaires voisins... rien à dire... si que des éloges. Nous étions deux couples motards. Les alentours sont parfaits pour des vacances réussies.

Fantastic views from a fantastic location!

We loved our time in Castellet! This property is located in a tiny town right outside of Apt, France. The house is so wonderfully set up with plenty of spaces for family to sit and visit. The nights are quiet and the days are so peaceful. The kitchen is very well equipped with a very high quality gas stove and oven (and a copper pot!). We all definitely want to return here again!

Cours séjour du 6 au 9 mai dans cette jolie petite maison idéalement située pour visiter un peu de luberon un peu de Verdon .Calme du village gentillesse des propriétaires nous avons tout aimé même les pizzas du camion qui vient tous les mardis !!
