La Grande Borne

The property lacks a few basic items. Two bedrooms had no wardrobes, clothes hangers or mirrors. There was no mention beforehand that upstairs a guest had to walk through someone else's bedroom to reach their own.There were no instructions on using the television. However, the owner and her mother were very pleasant and welcoming.

Genoten van een mooie zonnige week, in een fantastisch huis van Julie en Remi, zeer vriendelijke mensen met een toffe hond Orange, de woning heeft alle comfort, grote living, grote keuken, 2 badkamers en 3 slaapkamers... Genay is de perfecte uitvalbasis voor het bezoeken vd grotere steden Beaune, Dijon, Auxerre, Noyers...ideale plaats om de batterijen op te laden, de vergezichten in de natuur zijn de moeite!

outdated

oude boerderij. vriendelijke mensen, maar de woning zelf ernstig gedateerd. met een temperatuur boven de 30 graden en slechts 1 ventilator was het slapen niet te doen. daarbij moesten alle ramen en deuren dicht blijven ivm vliegen en muggen. Weinig te doen in de omgeving voor kinderen en tieners helaas.

Bonjour, Nous sommes désolés que votre séjour dans notre gîte n'ait pas été confortable. Malheureusement l'isolation est à refaire mais des moustiquaires sont installées sur toutes les ouvertures et un 2nd ventilateur est présent à l'étage désormais. Concernant les activités pour enfants et adolescents, Genay est un petit village de campagne donc il faut se satisfaire d'activités nature (promenades, baignades dans les lacs, accrobranche...). Nous sommes généralement de bon conseil et surtout toujours présents, donc il ne faut pas hésiter à nous parler.

Prima uitvalsbasis

Goede uitvalsbasis voor groep fietsers. Eenvoudige accomodatie met ruime afgesloten tuin voor fietsopslag. Zeer rustige omgeving. Aardige behulpzame gastvrouw. Er zijn geen winkels of horeca meer in Genay. Dichtstbijzijnde supermarkt is in Semur. Bedden zijn prima.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour grâce à la beauté des paysages et des villages alentours et à l'hospitalité de nos hôtes. Le gîte est très agréable et calme. A refaire !

Nice simple house, good for family with children

Eenvoudig maar prettig huis in heel rustige omgeving. De tuin erbij is fijn om te zitten. Ik zou niet met het maximale aantal mensen in dit huis gaan, want er zijn weinig slaapkamers en er is een bedbank meegerekend. Voor een gezin is het OK. De bovenverdieping kan heet zijn als de zon op het dak heeft gebrand. Er is een bakker in het dorp voor vers stokbrood. Veel mooie dingen zijn te zien in de omgeving voor wie van geschiedenis houdt. Maar vooral de rust vonden we heerlijk. De kinderen vonden het leuk om de tractors van de buren aan het werk te zien, of in de beek te spelen.

Un séjour à la campagne bien reposant

La maison bien située au calme dans petit village agréable à mi chemin de Lyon et de Paris. Il y a de jolis villages a visiter aux alentours: semur en auxois, flavigny, abbaye de fontenay. ... (voiture indispensable). Nous avons pu profiter de la terrasse et du barbecue et n'avons manqués de rien. Merci aux propriétaires accueillants et toujours disponibles.

Das Haus liegt ruhig auf dem Land und wir haben uns in den 2 Wochen sehr gut erholt.

Wir wurden am Anreisetag von den Vermietern ( u.a.mit selbstgemachter Marmelade und Eiern von eigenen Hühnern) sehr freundlich empfangen. Das Haus und die Einrichtung entspricht den Fotos und Angaben im Online Inserat. Es ist alles da was man braucht und es war insgesamt sehr ordentlich und sauber. Wir waren nur zu zweit und mussten nicht annähernd alle Räumlichkeiten auch wirklich benutzen. Ideal ist das eher für eine Familie mit 2-3 Kindern, denn es gibt genügend Platz im Haus und im Garten. Wer auch mal den längeren Weg zum einkaufen nicht scheut, ist hier genau richtig. Der nächste Supermarkt befindet sich in Semur en Auxois. (6 km) Zum Bäcker sind es mit dem Fahrrad ( gibt es 2 Stck. vor Ort) max. 5 Minuten. Sehr schön ist es in Semur en Auxois. Zum Essen empfehlen wir dort absolut das Restaurant " Le Saint Vernier " in der 13 rue Fevret. Liegt sehr versteckt, lohnt aber bis dort hin an allen anderen Restaurants vorbei zu laufen. Ist auch im Reiseführer und bei Tripadvisor empfohlen. (Was nicht immer was heissen muss) An Freizeitmöglichkeiten möchten wir nichts besonderes empfehlen, da kommt es wirklich auf die einzelnen Interessen an und ob man Kinder dabei hat oder nicht. Wir haben einige geplante Ausflüge nicht gemacht und haben lieber den Garten und die direkte Umgebung zur Erholung genutzt. Vor allem da wir in der zweiten Woche von Nachbars rotem Kater regelmäßig Besuch und sehr viel Freude hatten. Geht bitte gut mit ihm um, das ist ein ganz lieber Kerl. Insgesamt würden wir die Unterkunft jederzeit weiter empfehlen.
