About this property

The Anchor Cabin is the perfect place for your next beach vacation.

The Anchor is our largest of 5 unique cabins all connected by a wonderful porch. The porch and the outdoor space is shared by all property guests. Most days the ocean breeze is constant on the porch so its a great place to sit and talk or just relax and take a quiet nap.

If you enjoy cooking this is the place for you, The Anchor offers a large kitchen area with gas stove, large refrigerator and dishwasher. Fully stocked with all the essentials. However we also offer an outside cooking area under the palapal if you prefer to cook on a BBQ.

The Anchor has 3 bedrooms and sleeps up to 9 people comfortably. Bedroom 1 has a queen size bed and an en suite bathroom with large shower. Bedroom 2 has a queen size bed and Bedroom 3 has 4 bunk beds perfect for the kids or for an adult as one bed is full size on the bottom bunk. All bunk beds have a light and USB plug within handy reach.
Plenty of room to relax in the living dining area with a large couch and big dining table.

We are a pet friendly property and love to have your dogs come for some beach time as well. We do have a small one time pet fee of $35 per pet which is collected when you arrive,. We also ask that you sign a pet waiver when you arrive and that you pick up after your pets and respect other guests.

Check in time is 4:00 pm and check out is 10:00 am. We do our best to accommodate early check ins or late check outs depending on our reservation schedule.

We are family owned and operated, we have a on site manager who will take care of all you need with a smile.
We also offer off season prices and off season long rentals
If you are looking for more space for a bigger group or a family reunion you might consider renting all 5 of our cabins which would accommodate 30 people.

Property is as listed. Centrally located for all Port Aransas activities. The outdoor porch is a real treat for gathering to visit or dining. Friendly atmosphere. Becky (property manager) was very helpful and accommodating in all matters. Property owner was easy to communicate with and always pleasant with her correspondence. Would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful home and location. Property management was very welcoming and accommodating. The house had everything you need and very easy access to the beach. The property deck and outdoor yard area was awesome. Definitely a place to stay again at.

Mom's 80th bday

We had a great time, the house was just what we needed and close to the beach and coffee shop for nice walks and outings. Becky was a great hostess and we truly enjoyed our stay! If we head to that area again we would stay there. Thank you very much!

Windy but comfortable

The property was great and spacious. Becky, the property manager, was awesome. She made the check in, the stay, and the departure easy. She took time to explain everything and even gave us some tips about the area. I will definitely stay there again. As for the property itself, it was clean and sits at a great location. A walk to the beach is about 7 minutes. The great thing about the property was the extra found inside such as items for our pet. Even though it was spring break, our neighbors were never loud. I assuming because Becky set the rules! Overall, great time and great experience.

I’ve been coming to Port A for 15 years and this is my favorite place I’ve stayed. Super laid back and dog friendly. Becky, the manager, is onsite. She is so nice and helpful.

Was close enough the beach was not far away but we weren’t bothered by any of the noise from the beach. Liked that we were just far enough away from shopping/dining that we didn’t have to deal with the traffic and noise but close enough that everything was less than a 10min golf cart ride. The cabin was easily spacious enough with plenty of room for everyone. They had outdoor common space that was easily enjoyable without being on top of the other cabin guests as well. Overall was a great experience.
