Adorable bungalow close to downtown and Folly Beach! Park Pass Included!

Beautiful cottage surrounded by lovely landscaping. Just a 10 minute drive to the beach and roughly 15 minutes to downtown Charleston. You will enjoy spending time in this 1 bedroom, 1 bath cottage right in the center of James Island. From the time you pull in the driveway, you will notice the attention to detail. Pack your bags for a trip to Charleston! The property is fully equipped with a full kitchen, washer/dryer, sheets, towels. In addition, there is toilet paper and paper towels. While staying at this property, you will enjoy the screened in patio with a dining table for 4. There are also two comfortable chairs for sipping your morning coffee on the porch. When you feel like going to the beach, don’t bother packing your beach chair as there are 2 chairs along with boogie boards and beach towels. When you come home from the beach, you may even want to use the outdoor shower! Very private shower and the back of the house. In the evenings, whether you want to go out or stay in, there are tons of restaurants close by. However, when you feel like staying in, there is a grill at the property and a perfect area outside great for cooking out and enjoying the exterior features of this home.
There is even a fire pit right by the outdoor seating area guests are welcome to use. Whether you are coming for a long relaxing weekend or even a business trip, this home has it all! Take advantage of the County Park pass this home provides. The local park is only a couple miles away and has plenty to do! Great walking paths, bike rentals, paddleboard and kayak rentals too! This pass also allows you into the other local parks Charleston has to offer. What more can you ask for!

Fantastic getaway

This was our third visit here, and, again, it did not disappoint. The home is so lovely and quaint. The kitchen is stocked with what you need, and the screened in porch is perfect for early morning coffee or evening wine. The beauty of the homeowners garden is visible from all points of the porch. This year we were invited to pick blueberries and blackberries from the yard, which were perfect additions to our meals! The home is located just a few minutes from Folly beach and about 20 from downtown Charleston. Its perfect!! We cannot say enough about our wonderful stay in this perfect home!!

Great stay!

This place was great. It was very clean and very well stocked. Perfect for a couple. The location is perfect, can get to Charleston in about 15 mins and Folly beach in 10. Me and my girlfriend were able to go and explore and see so much but not have to drive a lot and that’s nice. The garden in the backyard is absolutely beautiful and you can tell they put a lot of hard work into it. The screened in porch was a relaxing spot to end long days of exploring downtown Charleston and walking the magnolia(a must do) and cypress gardens. Would definitely stay here again… oh and the shower totally lives up to the hype!

Everything in the VRBO description is spot on. The pictures shown are exact, except the couch in the porch was different, but comfortable. The quiet surroundings, the gorgeous landscape, the quaint little spots to sit around. We didn't make a fire or use the BBQ or outdoor shower, but they were there and ready for use, just as described. We did spend our evenings in the screened in porch to decompress and relax after busy days exploring the Charleston area. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom shower was great (rain shower, massage setting, etc.). We used the park pass that was included when we went to Folly Beach. We did a lot of exploring and having a vehicle is helpful, but this VRBO was centrally located, so it took about the same time to get anywhere we wanted to go. When you go, make sure to check out Folly Beach, Boone Hall Plantation, Palmetto Carriage tours, Patriot's Point Naval Museum, Fort Sumter, the Angel Oak Tree, Waterfront Park, White Point Garden, Charleston City Market, King Street in Charleston for all kinds of shopping and food (Halls Chophouse, Millers All Day, Carmella's, and 82 Queen were our 5 Stars places to eat). There is a lot to see and do. We'll be back!

Excellent Place to stay

This is such a pretty place to stay at. Everything is extremely clean and the landscaping is perfect. It is also located in folly beach which is a really nice area located very close to the beach.

Looking forward to a 2nd visit

This bungalow is perfect in every way. Conveniently located for access to Folly Beach, to everything on the historic peninsula, and to events at The Citadel, it is in a tranquil, quiet area of James Island. All the accommodations and furnishings in the bungalow are very nice: from the full kitchen, the spacious washer & dryer-equipped bathroom, to the comfortable bed cooled by a ceiling fan. We look forward to staying there again in the future and will recommend the bungalow to friends.

The perfect little bungalow

Quiet and Great Location

My fiancée and I had a wonderful experience here on our first trip to Charleston. The property was beautifully maintained, had everything we needed, and is just a 15 minute drive from both the beach and downtown Charleston. We would happily stay here again.

Hidden GEM, 10 Minutes to EVERYWHERE

This well-appointed & well maintained bungalow is perfectly located between Charleston & Folly Beach. It is a perfect spot for a couple who desires accessibility to the Holy City, nightlife, food scene & surrounding areas without staying in the hustle & bustle of the city. Perfect bungalow for 2

You can't beat the location of this rental. We were not more than 15 to 30 minutes max to everything we chose to do and see. The little bungalow is just adorable and the bed slept better than any hotel I have ever stayed at. After a day at the beach, the shower was like being at a spa! Having chairs and towels provided for us to use for the beach was an appreciated cost saving treat!! This rental is stocked with anything you should need or could possibly forget to pack.The host and her husband were the sweetest and I thoroughly enjoyed my time on the screened in porch watching the squirrels play and listening to the birds and napping on the comfy couch in the afternoons! If we return to the area this is marked as my preferred spot to stay.Thank you again for your hospitality and sharing such an amazing little place to escape and enjoy!!

Peaceful Place

What a great little slice of heaven. This was such a beautiful little place to stay. The location has everything and more to make you feel at home and comfortable. We would wake up and drink coffee from the peaceful porch for hours and finish the day with drinks on the porch. If you're looking for a quiet secluded place to stay that is minutes from all the hustle and bustle, this is your place to stay.

The home comes with a park pass that will gain you access to the local parks. There is one about 2 miles away and also one on Folly Beach. Safe neighborhood. Great for walking. Lovely screened in porch for relaxing, playing a game, or just enjoying the outdoor temps!
