Enjoy the natural beauty of this architecturally inviting home, nestled in a lush canyon between Pasadena and Glendale. Large wood beams and gorgeous wood floors define the framework for the inviting wide open spaces.

The spacious kitchen offers a large island for entertaining, preparing a home-cooked meal and socializing with those in the adjacent family room. The master bedroom has a king bed and private bath while the second bedroom offers a queen bed with luxury bedding and views of the outdoors, the third bedroom with great views of the backyard and pool has two twin beds.

Large, horizontal windows and glasses doors provide an indoor-outdoor living, with great views of the greenery planted throughout the property. This single level home wraps around a large saltwater pool situated amongst tall mature trees, creating a private oasis to enjoy the great weather that Southern California is known for (please note the pool is not heated at this time).

A short five-minute drive takes you to the quaint Montrose shopping village. Glendale, Pasadena and La Canada are all nearby areas with world-class shopping and dining venues to enjoy.

The home is seven minutes from Pasadena, fifteen minutes to downtown LA, 30 minutes to beaches, and just a few minutes from spectacular biking and hiking trails in the Verdugo Mountains.

Please note that this lovely home is a pet-free and event-free

*** The pool and spa are NOT heated between October 15 and March 1. For the rest of the year the weather is generally warm but if the pool needs to be heated there is an extra charge of $30/day for a minimum of 3 days ***

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property is wonderfully secluded at the end of a cul-de-sac, giving us an urban wilderness experience we didn't expect, and loved! Keep an eye out for the elusive bobcat, a rare and beautiful treat. Great home for relaxing, reading, and sunning on the patio. Responsive management.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Bottom line, great place, except for two things for an old guy. There were no local channels in the TV. There were several fires in CA and a couple more started during my visit. I would have liked to check to make sure I was not near one. This house was a wonderful house. I enjoyed the house and my children, grand children and now great grand children enjoyed the house. The only other item that might cause a problem for some, no light in the living room or bedrooms to read. The only real lighting in the house was in the bathroom and kitchen. Speaking of the kitchen, it was wonderful. I don't think there was anything missing. It was wonderful. I met one neighbor somewhat and they too were wonderful. Great place. My grand daughters loved the pool. I simply enjoyed the place. I had to leave early because I became sick. Kathleen and your staff were wonderful as well.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We liked the house in Glendale. Quiet area and close to everything. We had much use of the pool in the heat. We rented a car, and saw much of the LA during our stay, went a few times to the sea and visited Universal Studios. The house was well planned with large surfaces. We used the grill every night and enjoyed the warm evenings on the patio. The house was not very clean so we ordered a cleaning service during our stay. Vacation livivng LLC was helpful and accommodating. Mall in Glendale was really good and we did a lot of shopping there. Our holiday was very nice and we yearn to return.
