Discover Adventure in the Smokies with this Family Friendly Oasis in the Woods

Welcome to Discover Adventure Cabin!

Nestled between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, this cabin offers access to all of the local attractions in a matter of minutes. Discover Adventure is only 1.6 miles from the parkway, and a two lane paved road offers peace of mind as you traverse the winding path to this cabin in the woods. Flat parking and space for two vehicles is a feature this cabin offers. Our Ram 1500 fits fine, but please leave larger vehicles at home.

Enter on the main level into the dining room and kitchen area. Granite countertops accent the kitchen and provide plenty of workspace for cooking meals. The kitchen is stocked fully with cookware, and additional amenities such as a blender, Keurig machine, crockpot, and regular coffee maker are also available. Two barstools on the peninsula allow children or others to watch as you prepare your home cooked meals. Enjoy your home away from home cooked meals in the dining room that seats six just off of the kitchen.

Also on the main floor, you will find a bedroom with a 32" in tv, dresser, full closet, and a view of the jacuzzi on the deck. The bathroom for this bedroom is located just outside the bedroom door and features a tub and shower combo and single vanity.

The living room is also located on the main floor and boasts an impressive cathedral ceiling and tons of natural light. There is plenty of seating with two chairs and a large leather sofa. We offer HBO, Cinemax, Showtime, NFL Network, and plenty of kids' stations. Just beyond the living room, you have access to the back deck. Enjoy a dip in the jacuzzi or rock back and forth on the porch swing as you relax in the peacefulness the location offers.

Heading up the stairs, you will find an oversized master with bedside jacuzzi and en suite bathroom. The en suite has a full tub and shower combo and single vanity with extra counter space. A dresser and 32" tv leave more than enough space to enjoy.

Just outside the upstairs bedroom is the kid's loft which boasts twin bunk beds, child's play area, and arcade game. Laundry facilities are also located in the loft. While you enjoy the comforts of downstairs, your kids will have their own area to play and relax.

Family vacation

Great Location And Very Clean

The cabin was as advertised and very clean upon arrival. location was about 10 minutes from gatlinburgh and Pigeon Forge. Hightly Recommend for a cabin in the woods

Clean and Great Location

The cabin was exactly as described and very clean. Quick commute to the park and Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge. We were fortunate enough to see three mature black bears below us from the cabin balcony!

Perfect location

This cabin was immaculate and just as pictured. My kids loved the loft and the arcade game as well as the bunk beds. Jacuzzi was the perfect to end each night. Location was great as it was an easy drive to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Highly recommend!

Great Cabin in the Smokies

We scheduled a last-minute trip to Gatlingburg and had very few cabins to choose from. WOW, this cabin lived up to the profile and the cost. Situated between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg and up the mountain it had great views and privacy. We were so happy to get away to such a lovely home. Very clean and up to date and THANK YOU for the coffee pods!!!

The perfect getaway

We rented this cabin for our week long trip with our kids and grandparents and it worked out wonderfully! The cabin had lots of room for everyone and lots to offer. The kids loft was great for our boys (ages 5 & 7). The property owner was great to work with when we had one small issue that was out of his control. The kids are excited to make a return trip and hope to stay in the same cabin!

Quick weekend trip

This cabin was extremely nice and well upkept. Had no issues with anything during our trip. Roads leading to it can get a little tricky so best to find it during the daylight if possible, but we all enjoyed our stay. Cabin is close to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Brandon was amazing at his responses and answered all my questions before we left. He made the whole process great and we would definitely recommend staying here.

Last Minute Getaway

We stayed here for a quick last minute getaway. The cabin was very clean, the location was quick to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge, the bed was very comfortable. The only issue we had is getting out of the driveway. We have a Suburban and we had to really back in and out to make the turn to get out. We only used one bed, but the cabin would be great for a family! We will stay here again and bring out kids back with us.

Weekend getaway

Cabin was great. From the surface everything looked great but we were going to use the downstairs closet and looked to have had the iron, ironing board and other items just thrown in. The closet with washer and dryer had lint and other trash along the side. And lastly there was a bunch of black stuff that came out of the jets in the tub up stairs.

This cabin is absolutely beautiful. Very clean and has everything you can think of. Very close to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Brandon is very responsive and provides a very detailed welcome package. Would definitely stay again.

Everything we wanted. Perfect location! Whether we wanted to go to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge we were close to both. This was my first time seeing bears also. Ive been in the past and seen none. In 2 days we seen 5. Loved it! Great place to stay! Very neat and clean. We wasn't there much but had everything we needed.

This is a great place to stay off the beaten, yet it is conveniently located near Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The location is prime. The beds are the most comfortable I've slept in while away from home. The property was spotless and well-equipped with everything needed to cook. The driveway is little steep and tight for parking. my F150 fit like a glove. You should be able to park four cars in the driveway due to this being a shared driveway, but we was only able to manage to get one. The other guest had two cars, but the driveway is too small.. This is an amazing place. Please don’t pass it up. We would love to come check out any of their other properties. They may have like I said super clean and we even saw bears on the day that we left. It was amazing.

AMAZING!

Wow, what an amazing stay! The cabin was immaculately clean *not even a spiderweb to be found)! Fantastic communication with owner/manager. We has a small leak in the upstairs bathroom, I reported it right away and they had someone out to look and repair it same day, on a Saturday of a holiday weekend! The property is beautiful and not hard to get to. The beds are comfortable and the showers are sufficient. You need to bring nothing but toiletries and food. Walk up the road a little and get a stunning view of the mountains. Thank you for such a great place to stay!

Cozy cabin in the woods

We always seek full kitchens to prepare breakfast and dinner when traveling. This gorgeous cabin has a serviceable kitchen. Stocked well for cooking, but it has poor lighting (a center ceiling light but no task or counter lighting) and no outdoor grill. We brought a cast iron griddle to grill on the stovetop, and found the exhaust fan is insufficient.

Very nice cabin

Cabin was clean and very cozy. Everything was great and there is wild life right in the back yard where you can view from a pretty high deck. Great for sipping wine and relaxing. Parking is not ideal if you have a bigger vehicle, but that is listed on the description. One night we got back and there was a truck pretty much blocking the whole driveway, but I got around it in my Gladiator. Also the view from the deck is not that great, but your in the woods. Nice relaxing time for my wife and I.

Mountain cabin

We enjoyed our stay in the cabin in the mountains. It was stocked with everything we needed. It was convenient to Hiking and all kinds of activities in Gatlinburg and Dollywood. It was a very nice getaway.

We have been traveling to the Smoky Mountains for years and love bringing our two children to the place we fell in love with. The peacefulness of the mountains combined with the attractions in town have made this our spot. We fell in love with this cabin due to its closeness to town while still being quiet. The lack of crazy roads helped as well! The winter view of the mountains is a sight to behold at sunrise and sunset.
