Spectacular Waterfront Home – Family Friendly – Deception Pass/Anacortes

Beautiful no-bank waterfront home nestled in a cozy private inlet surrounded by 180-degree panoramic views of spectacular Smilk Bay and Mt Baker.

The daily rate is for up to 6 people, with additional people up to 8 maximum calculated automatically by Vrbo at $25 per night per person.

We have a lap pool which (if turned on) generates a current enabling you to workout by swimming in place. The lap pool is open June through September at no charge. During the off-season of October through May, there is a one-time $100 fee to open the lap pool which includes heat, cleaning & water chemicals. For bookings during the off-season, if you would like the pool opened up, please provide 3 days advanced notice. The hot tub is heated year-round at no charge.

Step off the deck to miles of beach walking, clamming and some of the best Dungeness crabbing in the region. A mere 8 miles away is the city of Anacortes, the gateway to the San Juan Islands via the Washington State Ferry system and boasts many quaint shops and highly rated restaurants. The historic town of La Connor is another must-see, with great restaurants, charming shops and exciting events, such as the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival. Deception Pass State Park and Bowman Bay (minutes away) with breathtaking views of the Deception Pass Bridge and incredible hiking, mountain bike trails and freshwater lakes are not to be missed.

***A special note about cleaning- surfaces, doorknobs, cabinets, faucets, etc. are wiped down with disinfectant as part of our thorough cleaning procedure.***

The recently remodeled Swinomish Casino and Hotel, a 12 min drive, has a great buffet which also operates an 18 hole golf course, only a 6 min drive from our home. A small grocery store, restaurant and Fidalgo Country Inn are just 5 minutes away.

This 4 bedroom, 2 1/4 bath home offers enough room to comfortably sleep up to 8 guests, making it the perfect accommodation choice for families and friends.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all modern amenities complete with stainless steel appliances and a gas range. Dining room table seating for 8 with additional seating for 2 at the island as well as an outdoor table seating for 8. Outdoor sofa with gas fireplace and BBQ. Laundry room with sink and 2nd refrigerator.

Take a swim in the lap pool or enjoy the adjacent hot tub, both built into the spacious deck which includes an outdoor shower, all with amazing waterfront views. Finish off your evening with a fire in either the propane fire table on the deck or a driftwood fire in the steel fire pit on the beach.

Amazing property- do not miss

This was a family get together for 5 adults and this property was perfect. The view alone was worth it, not to mention the hummingbird show all day- you will be obsessed with hummingbirds by the time you leave, I promise you. My brother put out crab pots from his kayak and dug mussels and clams and it was absolute heaven. Well stocked and organized kitchen for cooks, and plenty to do nearby, but you really won't want to leave the house. We'll be back!

Fantastic spot to enjoy marine wildlife

We stayed with our 2 dogs and just loved it. The location is very unusual, right on the bay with all the local marine life on your doorstep. The beach is walkable for miles at low tide affording plenty of close encounters with herons, eagles, oyster eaters, otters and the local shellfish (clams, muscles, oysters...).

Perfect weather, amazing views, wildlife daily, quiet, enough room for seven adults and one baby. The tv only came on once, to watch a movie later in the evening. House close to downtown Anacortes and La Connor. Love both cities and what they have to offer. Whale watching was a success, Orcas. Hard to say goodbye to my family and beach house. This was our second time at this property. We love the pool, hot tub (especially I appreciate how clean the hot tub is) and location. This trip we explored Deception Pass State Park. The kids enjoyed exploring the beach in front of the house. Great getaway!

Fabulous getaway

We had a wonderful time staying here! The owner was communicative and worked hard to make our stay all that we hoped for. The location is perfect: quiet beachfront, but also close to both Anacortes and Deception Pass. The kitchen is great and well-stocked with everything you could need. The lap pool is great fun for both the kids and adults. This was our second stay and we will definitely be back!

This is an exceptional property. Close to Seattle and Vancouver, this beachfront home is a perfect place to stay. Comfortable and with a great kitchen and lovely deck. Great location for my birthday trip with the family. Nice size bedrooms with plenty of room forthe family. Communication with Chris was great - he responded quickly with a great desl of information. We had one issue with water in one shower and he came up immediately to fix it. The kitchen was very well stocked. Everyone loved all the humming bird feeders. We saw otters from the deck as well as a bald eagle. It was a quick drive to Deception Pass, the ferry to the islands and downtown Anacortes. The shops downtown were great. I highly recommend Pelican Bay Books and Coffee.

Great home!

We picked this home for the view and the heated lap pool; but the thing I appreciated the most was how helpful and communicative the owner, Chris was. We've stayed at places that were run by a property management firm, and had a fine time, but the extra attention Chris put into making sure we were well cared for really made a difference.

Stunning Location and Home

My parents live at the top of the hill in this area and with wanting a place for my dogs and I to enjoy the beach this was the perfect location. The home is so comfortable, the views are stunning. The beds were very comfortable and the house is extremely equipped. I put on a dinner for all my family in the area and it was so wonderful to fell like you were in a home and not worried if you would be able to entertain. I would love to come back to this home it was a little slice of heaven.

Beautiful home and amazing views!!

This home is right on the water (two sets of stairs going down to the beach) and the views are breathtaking! The home is very clean and the kitchen is stocked very well. We (5 of us) celebrated my brother’s 75th birthday and he said it was the best yet. In the evening we enjoyed the deck with the fire table. The owner, Chris, is wonderful to work with!
