Summary:
Aloha and welcome to our 1 bedroom condo, your home away from home! My family and I live on Maui and we are so excited to host your vacation. Don't get stuck with a major rental company that doesn't care about your individual group. We take pride in providing personal touches and making sure that we personally check on our condos to ensure your trip is the best it can be.

Conveniently located in South Kihei, across from Kamaole Beach II, the Maui Banyan Resort boasts lush tropical foliage complemented by two swimming pools, jet spas, tennis courts, a putting green, a gas barbecue and picnic areas.
Come and stay in the highly desirable G building. The closest building to the ocean! Our condo has a little peek a boo view of the spectaclar ocean, and you can hear it loud and clear when the lanai doors are open. Let it lull you to sleep! Our 1 bedroom condo has just been completly remodeled! Everything was updated and bought new.
The kitchen was updated with brand new appliances as well as granite countertops. All new cookware, dishes, glasses, everything! It is fully stocked and ready for you to cook your favorite hawaiian meals.
The kitchen is open to the living area. Complete with a dining table for four and a sofa area, its the perfect place to relax and get ready for your Maui day. We have brand new flooring in here also! The sofa is new and includes an upgraded memory foam mattress in the queen size pull out. Brand new tv as well, for those Maui nights when you wnat to curl up and catch up on your favorite show.

The one bedroom ha a king size bed with new bedding. There is another tv in the bedroom, so you can lay in bed and watch that show. The lanai goes all the way across from the living area to the bedroom. There is a small dining area out on the lanai also so you could eat while hearing the ocean. The bathroom has been remodeled, incluing all towels.
There is an a/c unit in the main living arean, and ceiling fans in the living room and bedroom. Included in the unit are beach towels, beach chairs, sand toys, an umbrella, and boogie boards.
Just up the street is Kamaole Beach I, or Kam I as the locals call it, and just down the street is Kamaole Beach III, with an expansive grassy picnic area. All 3 parks boast free parking, restrooms and public showers.The property’s convenient location offers guests many choices for ocean activities, dining and shopping within walking distance. World-class golf and tennis, five-star restaurants and exclusive island shops are all within a few minutes’ drive, making Maui Banyan Resort an ideal vacation destination.

The Maui Banyan charges a $25 resort fee upon checking in. This is per reservation not per person.

Had a wonderful stay! We appreciated the good communication from the vrbo host and the recommendations they gave. We especially liked the ability to do laundry. We used the beach chairs to watch the sunset on the beach everyday (it was right across the street!). There are tiny ants which can be annoying and you must be really careful with food crumbs and leaving food out, but maybe a few extra ant traps/bait could help

Great stay

We loved our stay, the listing was accurate, communication with the host was quick and easy. The location is solid, right across from a nice beach and easy drive anywhere. Having a washer and dryer was helpful. We never used the pool, so can’t comment on that. It’s small, but we fit four of us with the pull out couch just fine.

Perfect Vacation

Kihei has been our winter destination for many years. We found the Maui Banyan to be one of the most Accessible condos in the Kihei area. The G complex is the most westerly multi floored complex with a great view of the pool and BBQ area. The grounds are kept in immaculate condition. Our condo # G203 was excellent for access either by stairs or elevator. The dedicated parking was a real asset unless you had a large car. The condo was clean and it is obvious that renovations are ongoing with floors and living areas being completed. The patio doors require new wheels as they are very difficult to roll. The lanai is large enough to have breakfast on every morning with ample room to move around and the furniture is very comfortable. The bed in the facility is very comfortable. We slept every night with the patio doors wide open and slept very comfortably. During our stay we did not need the AC if we left the patio doors open during the day even if the temperature rose to 90F. The bathroom needs remodeling as it is dated. Kitchen area works well but there is a lack of food storage containers. The TV works well but the Roku system is terrible. You can not find a station ie ABC or NBC due to the nature of the system. You will awake every morning to the crow of a rooster in the distance followed by sunrise and at precisely 8AM Kihei becomes alive with grass, tree and shrub trimming. Lovely mornings. Would stay there again

A wonderful stay in Maui

My husband and I enjoyed a great trip to Maui recently and would stay at the Banyan again. We arrived to the condo at 4am and was greeted by a lovely security guard in the parking lot who let us in. When we got to the condo there was no parking pass for us to use so we e-mailed the owner who got back to us in the morning (turns out you don't really need it anyways). We got one from the front desk. It was awesome having a front desk staff available to utilize. The unit is located in convenient building G - close to the parking lot, front desk, pool, etc. The Banyan is right across the street from beautiful beaches and just a block away from food and shopping (Fred's, The Cinnamon Bun Place). The unit was clean and bright and comfortable. There are tiny little ants that hang out in the kitchen and bathroom that they spray the whole complex for I believe once per month. They're harmless. The space was perfect for us to be able to spread out and not feel crammed. The sliding door to the lani could use an upgrade as it got pretty stuck and was very sqeeky, but the lani itself was lovely to sit on and enjoy a morning/afternoon view of mostly garden (and some parking lot). The unit next door can open to connect into one big space. The noise does travel quite a bit and we could hear conversations clearly when in the kitchen/dining room. We were out of the unit all day long though so it didn't bother us. Having the snorkel gear, Tommy Bahama chairs, cooler bag, beach umbrella, etc., was awesome. We used them daily. The owners left a lovely care package and were keen to accommodate any requests or questions we had via e-mail or phone. I don't think the unit had a phone in it which would be a nice addition. We are from Canada so I purchased a roaming phone plan. We received our damage deposit back within 1 week of our stay. We hope to be back in Maui and would definitely stay in Kihei again and would stay at the Banyan again too. Great vibe, great location. Thanks Maui!

This condo has a great layout and terrific location (views of the sunset over the ocean from the deck). It's exceptionally well equipped with beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards etc. And Angela's helpfulness was hugely appreciated. An absolutely marvellous Kihei condo - we'll be back.

Restorative Break!

Came to celebrate a family milestone birthday and two years into the Pandemic it was definitely great for everyone’s mental health! Angela is super responsive to all queries and has tastefully furnished the suite with calm ocean colours. Great to hear the ocean when dropping off to sleep and awakening! Pool is just steps from the suite which is also walking distance to all the shops and eateries you need! Beach is literally across the street! Thx so much!

Nice place and location is great.

It would have been a five star but the place was noy the cleanest. Countertops and bathroom needed to be cleaned. We are leaving the place cleaner then when we got here. One other very strange thing is the curtains don't go all the way to the floor. They are about a foot too short. Excellent TV with a good selection of channels, 2 umbrellas, 3 beach chairs, sand toys for kids, 2 bogey boards and mask, snorkel and fins. Awesome that you don't need to rent anything for the beach. If available next time we come, we would probably rent this place again.

Aloha Maui Banyan

Aloha! We completely and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Maui Banyan unit G203! Our unit was very clean, easily accessible, and the bed was very comfy! the grounds at the Maui B are beautiful and the hot tub just what you need at the end of busy day of exploring. There are multiple places to dine that are delicious and close. The beaches within walking distance are gorgeous and provide good snorkeling in the A.M. Very clean great location. Great beach supplies. Towels chairs umbrella. We stayed here for 3 weeks. Would highly recommend d. Close to beach and pool. Would stay again. 2recomendations for owner. The glass sliding door and screen door of the living room need repair. And unit could use some sharp knives. Other than great place.
