About this property

4 Miles to the Beach and 4 Miles to Tanger Outlet!!!

Our condo is a very nice and cozy 3-bedroom, 2-bath condo located on the 1st floor in the beautiful and quiet Colony Club Complex at Drakes Landing in Gulf Shores, which is close to Craft Farms Golf Course, Pelican Place Shopping Center and the Pinnacle Theater. The SportsPlex Center is just across Highway 59 on Oak Road and it's very near where the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo relocated in March of 2020. (The Little Zoo That Could)

The Master bedroom is furnished with a comfy king-size bed with a TV and plenty of closet space, along with its own private bathroom. The Second bedroom is furnished with two twin beds and the Third bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and has a door leading to the patio area. Bed linens and bath towels are furnished. Please bring your beach towels.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all appliances, a coffee machine, blender, etc. A full-size washer and dryer are furnished as well as an ironing board and iron.

There is big-screen TV located in the living room. Wi-Fi are available as well. There is a patio just off the living room if you'd like to go outside and relax and enjoy the gulf breeze. The dining room consists of comfortable seating for 6 to 8 people.

The complex has a really nice outdoor pool area, hot tub, and an exercise facility. There is a tennis court and fishing in the catch-and-release pond on the complex as well. A great barbecue area with a charcoal grill is located near our condo building.

We also have 2 other 3-bedroom, 2-bath condos in Colony Club. # 7112104 is also located on the 1st floor and is furnished with 2 queen-size beds and 2 twin beds.

# 2207965 is located on the 2nd floor and has 2 queen-size beds, a full-size bed and a twin-size bed. We welcome your reservations for these condos as well !! Beginning May 20, 2024, there is a $25 parking fee per vehicle with a 2-vehicle limit per unit.

Check-in was good, communication with Karen was good, and the location was good. The condo was really clean and spacious. The condo had everything we needed during our stay and it was quiet as well. We stayed at this property for the Sand in my Boots Festival. It was close to the shuttle stop which was great. The complex was quiet and we had no issues during our stay. Karen was responsive and even alerted us to an early check in time. I’d stay here again!

Everything was great. Only thing it needed was the ice maker to work or at least ice trays to fill up for ice. Other than that very small detail the place was absol amazing and would love to come back.

Wonderful Stay in Gulf Shores

My family greatly enjoyed this 3 bedroom property. My wife was very happy with it, so that is all I need to say. In addition, the location is perfect for all activities in the Gulf Shores area. Our stay was 7 nights. We only spent 1 day at a Gulf Shores beach (Lagoon Pass Park), which was just fine. We spent the next day at Waterville USA (highly recommended!) and a day at the Zoo (which is just down Oak Road.) We then took a day trip to Destin and enjoyed beautiful Henderson Beach. Our last day was Saturday and we could not get parking at any beach, so we made it a pool day. (We had a late start due to arriving back from Destin at 1am!) We enjoyed dinners at Lulu's, Lambert's, Magic Mushroom Pizza, and a very affordable dinner at El Torro. Gulf Shores is a wonderful place. This property is awesome. Highly recommended!!!

Wonderful and Comfortable

We felt like we were home, just closer to the beach. It's far enough from the beach to not be noisy but close enough to feel like a beach vacation. You are also right next to the zoo. When I say next to I mean you can hear the animals from the pool and see some of the buildings thru the fence :)

We really enjoyed our stay at the property and especially appreciated the quick attempt to repair/then replace the microwave that suddenly quit working as we used it to reheat food. The beach decor and even small items such as floor mats, keurg cups, and night lights were appealing. Check In directions upon entering the rear of the property should be corrected to be a right then a 2nd left (not just "a left") and the deadbolt needs to be turned to the left (not right) to enter. Minor items are a missing 1/2 cup measuring cup and no found DVD player even though listed under the website's "amenities". The 12 " skillet also needs replaced as much of the coating has worn off.
