About this property

The smaller version to the Restin' at Weston

A quaint little cabin in beautiful southern Colorado. Perfect for couples or small families that want to get away and enjoy some peace and quiet. The cabin will sleep 6, but is more favorable to 5 or less. If you have small children, 6 will work. If you group consists of larger people, you may prefer the Restin' that is up the hill. You may hike around the cabin or choose to somewhere more public like the Spanish Peaks, North Lake, Monument Lake, or somewhere near Cuchara.
The cabin has a queen bed in master bedroom. There is a loft that has 4 twin beds as well. There is only 1 bathroom, but we now have a washer and dryer. The kitchen has the amenities that you need to cook. There is also a charcoal grill that may be used.
You have 2 places to choose from to have your morning coffee or evening nightcap. There is a covered porch on the front as well as a deck with a wonderful view o f the mountain behind.
There is a small living room with a TV, and we now have internet. With Verizon you will have cell coverage.
We generally close this cabin from December to March due to having a crawl space and the cost to heating it. If you wish to stay during this time frame, send us a note and we will consider it.

A perfect vacation place

We drove from Texas to stay in this lovely cabin. It was a great vacation, the cabin is roomy and very well equipped for everything that is needed. Loved eating our meals outside on the patios! The mountain behind a cabin is a great hike and it is full of animals; we really enjoyed it. Very highly recommended, a great place to stay.

Lil Restin

This was our second time staying at the Lil Restin and we absolutely love it. The cabin has been maintained well and it is very clean. The host kept in contact and made check in easy. We enjoyed sitting on the porches and watching all the hummingbirds. It’s a great getaway to enjoy peace and quiet. We will be back!

Memorial Day Fishing Trip

My son and I stayed here Memorial Day weekend and had a blast. This is a perfect location and the house was ideal for the 2 of us. We saw Turkey, Deer, and a whole herd of Elk. I highly recommend this place to anyone that wants to be a little off the beaten path, but not to far, and who loves the mountains and Mother Nature.

RELAXING!!

We had such a relaxing time at the Cabin. Hiked, read a book, watched a few movies (great collection to choose from) and our most favorite thing was laying on the deck in our sleeping bags stargazing! The Cabin was very clean and comfortable! Looking forward to returning!!

Amazing Cabin!!!

This place is fantastic! Great cabin in a quiet off the beaten trail location. Has all the comforts of home with an in the middle of nowhere feel. Everything was clean and well cared for and the owner was communicative and helpful. Kids loved the loft with a bridge. Lots of lakes and outdoor activities nearby. We will be staying here again for sure!

Summer vacation

We all absolutely loved the cabin and the land! The cabin was clean and comfortable. My kids loved having the upstairs loft. We explored, did some off roading, fished, and saw a mountain lion! We will definitely visit again! We all had such a great time!

Beautiful country cabin with wildlife!

Booking and checking in was very easy. The area is absolutely stunning! From the great sand dunes to northern New Mexico all are close enough to explore. We came across all kinds of wildlife during our stay. Cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Wi-Fi is very good. It seems small from the photos but we never felt cramped. We would definitely stay here again.
