Peaceful waterfront getaway full of attractions year round!

Welcome to Hidden Valley, a private community where this outstanding waterfront home was custom built by Fenton Varney. If you are looking to get away from the noisy city life and experience true piece and quiet then look no further. This property features 125 ft of waterfront and a private dock. Situated on Lower Beech Pond which is a small Oligotrophic lake with a sandy bottom. Ideal for swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding etc.

About the house: Gourmet kitchen with cherry cabinetry, basalt sink and counter tops,Wolf Propane stove, Frigidaire Pro Series dishwasher, Sub Zero refrigerator, microwave, wet bar, Breville gourmet coffee maker, plus Viking wine cooler, are all beneath the custom barrel ceiling. Our oversized, custom made dinning table seats 10 and is perfect for big feast. Ash flooring dominates the entire first floor with radiant heat floors in the open concept living/dining room. Additional warmth is generated by the imported European ceramic wood/coal stove. A custom built wood ceiling adds to the room's ambiance as do the French doors opening onto the deck and screened porch with views of Mount Shaw, the Ossipee Mountains and pristine waters of Lower Beech Pond. This property also features two car garage.

Bedroom description: Master bedroom suite features a king size bed, master bath, walk-in closet, and private deck with lake views. Second bedroom also features a king size bed, beautiful oversized custom window. Both these bedrooms are located on the first level along with an additional half bath. The 3rd bedroom is located on the second level, along with a private bathroom. This bedroom in outfitted with two queen size beds. Fourth and fifth bedroom is located on the ground level.

Sheets are guaranteed to always be fresh and clean.

Additionally to the 2 king and 4 queen size beds, the living room couch is a sleeper. Also a queen size. If you would like to use it please let us know so we can provide you with extra sheets.

Outdoor features: 16x16 aluminum/cedar dock installed in 2020, 3 season porch, outdoor deck, grill, two full size tennis courts (5 min walk from the house), private community beach (3 min walk from the house), biking, hiking. Two car garage, one bay is being taken by the ping pong table.

Water activities: Included with this rental are 2 kayaks, 2 paddle boards, water wheeler, small row boat, numerous floats, life jackets, basketball backboard.








We welcome you to come experience our little piece of heaven!

We ask our guests to bring personal choice items like shampoo, conditioners etc. we provide towels, paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap.

Property is extremely clean, spacious, and nicely updated. It has everything you need to make a home away from home. Great care has been taken to provide options for outdoor activities (swimming, basketball, deck/patio, grilling) as well as indoor downtime (ping pong, sauna). Host was fantastic. We loved our time at the lake! This Tuftonboro rental provided a wonderful getaway for our whole family - ranging in age from 11-73. There was something for everyone! From the peddle boat, to the paddle board, to the fire pit - we thoroughly enjoyed it all! Thank you!

Idyllic

This is a first rate property with an attentive, considerate owner. The lake is very quiet and we took full advantage of the kayaks and paddleboarding. The house is great for family dinners, lots of reading and sleeping, ping pong, hoops, etc. It's not far from Wolfeboro which has waterfront restaurants and mini-golf. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and hope to return. Highly recommend!

Outstanding place to stay

Clean, convenient house. Quiet location. Very well-appointed kitchen. Plenty of plates, flatware, & cookware. Large but not huge refrigerator with commensurate bottom freezer. Gas range & gas oven, plus separate electric oven. Large main sink on one side & a small bar-style sink on opposite wall. Kitchen large enough for three adults to work at once. Good dishwasher. Microwave, electric kettle, coffee maker, espresso machine. Note: gas stove lighters don't work unless heavy cord lying on counter to right of stove is plugged in. Dining table long enough for 10 people. However bench on one side not as long as the table and would be crowded for four adults. Six chairs to put 1 on each end and 4 on side opposite bench. Seating 10 people would be tight on bench side if everyone is adult-sized. A great room holds the dining table on one side and a huge TV and large wrap-around couch on the other. Off great room is a sunroom/screened porch and also an open deck with large gas grill. The bottom floor has two bedrooms, large game room with another TV and Foosball, full bath, sauna, with very convenient exit out to the back yard at lake level. All bedrooms but one away from possible sources of noise. Exception is bedroom in basement opening directly into game room. Plenty of bathrooms: full bath in master bedroom, half bath in bedroom hall on 1st floor, full bath in basement, & full bath on 2nd floor. Master bath has bidet, shower stall, & bathtub with jacuzzi jets. Small washing machine & drier were sufficient for the 10 of us. The property comes with 2 Pelican single fiberglass kayaks and two stand-up paddleboards, and also paddleboat & rowboat. The "rowboat" is really sailboat with no seat for rowing but also no sailing rigging and seems useless. Kayaks & paddleboards in excellent condition. Swimming at the property's dock & at the excellent public sand beach about 3 house lots away. The water at beach has a large shallow area good for children. There are 2 swim floats at the beach. There is another beach in other direction farther away. Not as good as the nearby beach, but it's there if the other is crowded, which it never was. The lake is beautiful. Nice coves & overhanging trees in various spots along shore. Two tiny rock islands on far side of lake, visible from house. House in cell phone dead spot, no service. Must use wifi calling. Set up before arriving! Service at nearby higher ground. Owner very easy to work with. Good place!

The property met all our needs. the kitchen is extremely well stocked with quality cookware and knives. All the plates, platters and bowls you could imagine. Beds were very comfortable and we liked that they were spread out so we all had our privacy. Sub Zero frig was a plus for sure. Waterfront is easily accessible and so much fun. The pond is clean with a rocky bottom, not weeds and muck. Having kayaks and paddle boards was a lot of fun also. The neighborhood was quiet and nice to walk around in the morning and evening. We would definitely come back to this property.

Great place, great lake

We are a retired couple who stayed for several weeks and hosted our son and his family with two children and briefly in our friends with their three children. Everyone loved the house and there was plenty of room for everyone. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The kids especially enjoyed the basketball court, Ping-pong, SUPs,and pedal boat. It is a beautiful location and very quiet.

Family Vacation at the Lake

We had a wonderful time at the lake house. The kayaks, paddle boards, and paddle boat offered many fun ways to experience the lake. My father in law had a great time fishing and the water was perfect for swimming, super clean. The sauna was a wonderful touch and the kitchen was fantastic for cooking for 10.

New Hampshire Heaven

The house is huge, lots of room to spread out and relax! The kitchen is also very big and it's outfitted with modern appliances. The view of the lake, and mountains in the distance, from the kitchen window is right out of a travel magazine! The foosball table, ping pong table and basketball hoop kept our grandkids busy for hours. The highlight though was being right on the shore of this beautifyl lake. Everybody loved kayaking, paddleboarding and we brought a canoe for a little extra boating fun! S'mores by the huge fire pit were a blast too. We fit 6 adults and 5 kids around the dining room table wtih ease! Having a washer and dryer onsite was also a big plus! During planning for our vacation our host, Rafal, was incredibly helpful and responded quickly to all our questions. We wouldn't have changed one thing about our amazing vacaion.

Autumn in New Hampshire

We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary in this spectacular home. The setting was fabulous and although too cold to enjoy the crystal clear lake, the view was amazing. I have never experienced a kitchen so well supplied and communication with Rafal was excellent. We had a marvelous time and hope to return soon.

Wonderful property

We’ve stayed at many home rentals and this was by far our favorite. The house was as pictured in the photos and very clean as others have said in their reviews. The house was the perfect set up for our large party of 11 and there was plenty of space for all of us to sleep. The large dining table was great for eating and the kitchen was fully stocked with anything you might need. I also loved that there was some toys throughout for the kids to play with! The lake was calm and clean. Such a peaceful neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again.

Pond-side Paradise!

We stayed in this beautiful home with our 6 adult kids/in-laws to be. Plenty of space for everyone - very comfortable and clean! The kitchen had everything you could possible need and an awesome espresso machine for coffee drinkers. The pond was fun for swimming and paddling - kayak, SUP, paddle boat. We played pickle ball and tennis - less than 5 minute walk from the house. Highly recommend! Host was so easy to talk with and obviously cares about the home. Thank you for sharing with us!

Wonderful week

The setting is peaceful and spectacular. The pond is so very clean and the water very refreshing. The house, including the kitchen, is extremely well equipped. It was helpful that beach towels were supplied. We very much enjoyed the kayaks, paddle boards and pedal boat . It is just a short walk to the tennis and pickle ball courts. Our host, Rafal, was gracious and always available. Our family had a delightful week. We look forward to coming back next summer. Thank you, Rafal!

Perfect Vacation

My family and I had a wonderful vacation in this beautiful waterfront house. The house has everything you could ask for and is perfectly laid out so everyone had their own space as well as large open areas to gather together. The house is even lovelier than the photos and the pristine water for swimming and going out in the watercraft provided, makes for a perfect retreat. We enjoyed the surrounding towns and discovered many fun activities such as blueberry picking, mini golf and fine dining, a short drive away.
