Hi Ron- I’m sorry the floor in the bathroom got wet- did you use the shower curtain? I do not see any leaks in the main room- or water damage- you stayed during a snow storm- I’m wondering if maybe you wore snowy boots? Yes- we do allow pets to stay. I will make sure the blankets are cleaned- an alternative is no longer allowing pets at the property, as dog hair seems to stick around- thanks for that idea.

This is our first few months getting started, and we appreciate your feedback. We are so sorry you didn't have what you needed. We have placed many more towels into our home, and there is plenty of bedding, thanks to your suggestion. There is laundry detergent and dishwasher liquid. We will be placing a queen size bed into the master bedroom for your comfort. Your feedback is important to us, and we will continue to improve based on your help...Thank you!

Hi Penny, I'm so sorry your experience was less than you expected. Did you enjoy the lake? Were you able to enjoy the amenities and family time in our large family room? I'm sorry the view was marred. We will have the windows replaced. They aren't in ill repair, they simply have seen their day and we are ready to put in new ones. We have replaced the light bulbs. The mattress in the middle room has been replaced. Yes, ants tend to move in during the warmer months. This is a fact of living in Seattle as well as near the lake. Did you enjoy the brand new beautiful kitchen? We will replace the cookware. They don't last long with so many guests enjoying them. The front yards and gardens are not manicured, that is true. In fact, the grass will go brown this summer, as we do not water anymore and are creating drought-resistant gardens. So, I guess if you are looking for green grass with no weeds, please try coming in the winter months when we have rain. The bookshelf you are referring to, is this the 2-foot shelf? Because the giant toy shelf, which is about 7 feet tall, is bolted to the wall. My kids, now 19, 15, and 11, grew up in this toy area so it is very safe! With that all said, please keep in mind this is a rustic cabin on the lake...we gave you amazing deal and affordability to have your own private dock and lake to relax next to, at a price half of what we normally ask for...again, thanks for your feedback on our sweet little family lakehouse...

Our bathrooms are well-tended, but not new, you are correct. We hope you enjoyed the bathtub with the handheld removable shower nozzle that you can raise to any level as needed? Hi Melody, Yes, VRBO and I asked for extra damage payment for extra cleaning. This is stated in the policy. This is a place of business. As stated in our policy, Check-out was at 11 am. Perhaps you didn't read this and thought staying until after 12 was okay... and while we are flexible with late check-out requests, you did not request a late check-out. In addition, the photos of trash around the property were sent to VRBO who supported our ask that you pay extra for damages. It showed a broken lamp, and your trash thrown outside...not in trash bags. The trash was thrown, bagless, around the trash bins and throughout the front yard...not "next" to the trash bins. I'm grateful for your stay, as it allowed me to redefine and clarify our policy. Our goal is to give a beautiful lake experience. It sounds like you had that- but you weren't clear on checkout and damage. I encourage you to clarify check-out times and other policies before booking your next stay at another property.
