Family-friendly Home

My place is close to great views, restaurants, beaches, and bike trails. It is a 5 minute walk from a shopping center and a short drive from Monterey, Carmel, and 17-mile-drive. You'll love my place because it is a beautiful, clean, remodeled, sunny house with lots of space for parking. The climate in this area is fairly moderate around 60’s and 70’s, so air conditioning is not needed. My place is good for couples, business trips, and families.

Would give this 3-1/2 stars overall if half stars were an option. Good location for us, close to Monterey and Carmel. Not a luxurious place, but adequate. Place was roomy but needs updating. Beds were comfortable but would like to see new bedding and pillows. Kitchen had what we needed. Yard worked out well for my two year old grandson as it is fenced. There's a Costco close by as well as grocery store, easy to get to. Note that if you are planning to sleep out on the glassed-in porch where there are a couple of futons it can be hotter than Hades out there.

Clean, convenient location. Garage is locked from the inside and not accessible from the outside which is a little spooky (We joked someone lives in there). Parking is available on the driveway. Kitchen is available but there was no spray or oil to use for cooking. There were bottles for cooking oil but they were empty. I stayed in the downstairs rooms and the WiFi was very slow. It would be faster and slower at times, also adding to the someone living in the garage story :]

The layout of this home is great. Main bedroom with bath and kitchen living area upstairs and three bedrooms downstairs. This home worked well for our gathering for the days we were there. The decoration in the home wasn’t necessarily our style, but it in NO way takes away from ANYTHING about our stay. Location was also perfect, close to beach, shopping, etc. The host was quick to respond and we had everything we needed. Even added touches like labeling the light switches (as silly as that sounds) was super helpful. The view of the sunset was a great touch as well! Over all great stay!

We had a wonderful couple of nights at this location. The rooms were neat and tidy. The whole place seemed spotless. There were 6 of us and no one had any complaints. It would be helpful to know if/where there are extra papertowels - very minor request... We look forward to being there again sometime. Many thanks.

Perfect Family Gathering Place

Would recommend and reserve this place again, in a heartbeat. It’s close to all the attractions, easy access to the freeway and in a great neighborhood. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the sunroom upstairs and the front or backyard were perfect outdoor hangouts.
