This is a great romantic getaway, relax as swans glide by, alongside the soothing presence of ducks and geese; there is a lot to do in the area, and its's a nice spot if you just want a little down time.

Step outside to a covered porch with stunning lake views, ideal for romantic dinners or leisurely mornings.

Enjoy the comfort of two bedrooms with queen beds, modern bathroom, and a roomy walk-in closet. Whether you’re swinging in the breeze, roasting s'mores by the fire, or simply soaking up the tranquility, this is your perfect getaway!

Plenty of privacy in our quiet lake community, yet are only minutes away from various shops, restaurants and common conveniences.

Listen to birds and wildlife all around at our 30-acre lake and walking trails. Enjoy some fresh air and exercise by using our complementary kayaks, bikes or pedal boat for a day of outdoor fun.

This house is perfect for relaxing in front of the fireplace in one of the two recliners while enjoying time with family and friends.

Spacious open kitchen is fully equipped with all the needed appliances to allow you to easily prepare meals while socializing with others.

There is a shared spacious bathroom from both bedrooms along with stackable washer/dryer combo.

This home is Pet Friendly with max of 2 pets under 50lbs each.
Pets MUST be on leash at all times and picked up after.

All guests who are staying in the house MUST be on record with us prior to arrival. We look forward to having you with us and are sure you'll love it here.

Lovely stay at Paradise House!

The Paradise house was wonderful! It has a beautiful view of the lake. The neighborhood and the whole area was very peaceful. The house was clean, and the bed was so comfortable and we are already talking about making another trip back!

Overnight Visit

The location of this property is fantastic. We explored the nature refuge, historic Smithville, and Atlantic City. The drives to each were easy and within 25 minutes. Before checking out we walked the well maintained trails along the lake. The only issue was the bugs. (Expected during the summer - check for ticks.)The rental was clean and comfortable. Check in and communication with the host was quick and easy.

Perfect get away

We all enjoyed our visit! Every morning we had a pair of black swans visit us while we had our coffee out on the deck. Pleasantly quiet and relaxing atmosphere.

Lakeside stay

We really enjoy bird watching and being near water, so we selected this property for its proximity to Edwin B. Forsythe Wildlife Refuge, which is only 15 minutes from this property, as well as its lakeside location. The birding activity from the back deck was also an added bonus. We were lucky enough to see an osprey and a bald eagle, along with several different waterfowl and songbirds. We would definitely consider revisiting this property.

Delightful stay!

QUIET glamping resort, just what we wanted. Pet friendly and view of Swan Lake was awesome. Be sure to spend lots of time in the hammock chairs on the porch. We enjoyed kayaking on the lake and watching the resident goose and hummingbirds. There's a lovely short hiking trail behind the clubhouse. Plenty of deer ticks so wear your repellant. Kitchen was not quite fully stocked but it was not a hardship. We would stay there again. Thanks, Joy!

PARADISE HOUSE

Our family stayed at this house instead of staying in Atlantic City. It was our first visit to AC and we were very happy with our choice. The house and area is nice. We thought the lake was possibly a swimming lake but it was more a fishing lake. The walking paths were great. The house could use some more cooking items such as mixing bowls, baking sheets, etc. Joy was very helpful in helping us locate the house once we got to the resort. For us, it was a great alternative to staying in AC.

All the baking sheets and mixing bowls as well as the mixer are under the island . Sorry about the lake but yes we are about the wild life , nature , peace , tranquility and fishing . Lakes for swimming are not as healthy for the wildlife .

Lovely stay

I was pleasantly surprised by the actual swans on swan lake. I thoroughly enjoyed this location. I wish I was aware in advance of the 1:00 check in rather than 4:00. Also I would like to have known in advance where the beach chairs and bicycles were located. We spent a lot of time searching for them. By the time I received a response to my text to the property owner we had already left for the beach with only our towels to sit on. Other than that it was a very lovely place to spend a vacation. Very relaxing.

Nice property but needs Better cleaning and light maintenance.

Found numerous cob webs. Master bedroom door to bath doesn’t lock(PROBLEM) Numerous lights not working had to switch bulbs for front porch light to work. Top of fridge disgustingly dirty, included mouse droppings and someone’s hair clip.

Unfortunately we are in the woods so webs on the deck are going to happen. You are the first person that had an issue with the bathroom door not having a lock . I will definitely take your concern into consideration . We do strive to provide a 5 star experience and will take your concerns seriously and take actions to improve

Great location, but lacking on the amenities

A truly beautiful location, but really lacking on the details and amenities. Towels smelled sour after one use, only one single trash bag was left on site for four people to use for three days. Our host left us fresh eggs, but there was no cooking oil or any butter to be found to cook them. We also couldn't find a lighter or matches to light the grill. We had to make a few store runs once we arrived because we didn't have several of the basics we needed for a three-day stay including napkins/papertowels of any sort. Incorrect wifi password details were sent to us via email. The bed in the master bedroom was incredibly uncomfortable and we really weren't clear on where to find the kayaks, paddleboards or other water-related items that were mentioned. The guest room TV did not work at all, nor did the remote and was missing a battery. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but for the price we paid to stay here, we were a little disappointed on how many details were missed. This felt a little more like camping vs. a tranquil stay at a lakefront home.

We enjoyed our stay thoroughly. The house is very nicely decorated and furnished, and view from the living room and porch right on the lake is lovely. We also enjoy kayaking on the lake and were able to charge the Tesla for free. Joy was very responsive and courteous. Would definitely recommend!!

My stay was very quite. Just relaxing. My boys told me to " get away ". I did not hear from any of them ( I have 4 ) in three days. To be honest, I missed them a lot. LOL. Lovely lake house

This was our second visit to Paradise House, and it was just as good the second time around! Thanks for providing such a lovely getaway. The beds are super comfortable (my kids love the adjustable features), and the whole place feels really cozy. The only snag was not being able to work the access box on the front door.

Not as Secluded as you think..

Property is " Secluded as in the woods" with about 50 Manufactured homes around. If your looking for no neighbors this is not it. It is in a Campground, also. This Manufactured home, the shower drains very slow and get luke warm and no pressure to the shower. The beds are lumpy and uncomfortable. Very quiet and peaceful, would stay again.
