Definitely Not a Luxury Home
We were looking for a larger home for our family and this listing seemed so perfect. The pictures online looked amazing as well, and we were excited for our little "luxury" retreat. I wish I could rate this home higher, but in all honestly we were slightly disappointed for a few reasons. Check in was smooth, and communication with the owner and booking was seamless. The pool was also great and spotless, and the home had the space we needed for a family of 5. However, we thought we were getting the entire home for this high price point, but after the booking was complete were informed there was a guest house. (Which was someone staying in the basement.) We could hear the person talking loud and clear, as well as we lost some sleep due to them doing laundry at 1am. The linens were not crisp and clean as described in the previous review, and all the blankets and linens were very old and some of the throw blankets had food stains on them. The kitchen was great for what we needed it for, but inside the drawers were very dirty with crumbs, some drawers had random junk inside, and the utensils were also very old and well used. Little things like the remote controls for the tv were very dirty, the sunblock left in the back pool shed expired in 2020, random half used shampoo bottles left in the showers, the hairdryer in the master bathroom was covered in dust and dirt and in a basket full of other used hairbrushes. The living room couch was very old and the front porch was also very dirty, and could use some deep cleaning. Quite honestly it felt like we were just using someones house for a week instead of renting a luxury home to stay in. I really wish I could rate this home higher. Has great potential to be more luxury, but definitely needs some work and further investments to get it up to a higher standard, especially for this price point.

Perfection ♥️
I have rented many VRBO properties over the years. Nothing will ever compare to this beautiful home. The wonderful owners have thought of everything. From the moment we walked in the door, I knew it would be impossible to leave. The beds are all extremely comfortable and the linens are crisp and clean. You will fall in love with all the thoughtful details in every room. Outside - The pool is crystal clear and the perfect size. The multiple outside seating areas are inviting, enchanting and just plain lovely. I could have stayed forever. Thank you Kevin and Laura for everything. We will most definitely be back XO

Great Stay - Lovely House and Neighbourhood
We had a very nice stay at this house. The house (clean, comfortable) and the location are ideal. The neighbourhood is beautiful and you can easily access the local commercial area and lake. We used the pool everyday - awesome amenity. There is also a local park nearby for kids. This house is great for a family looking for an urban escape and would also be ideal for couples seeking a quiet respite.

A Perfect Stay!
We had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful home for 2 weeks. It was a staycation of sorts - a girl's getaway from city living for myself, my sister-in-law, and my 11-year old daughter. Didn't take long to settle into a blissful routine. I would start every morning with my coffee on the shaded front porch, watching the chipmunks and birds frolic while the neighbourhood of walkers, runners and cyclists passed by enjoying their morning workouts. After preparing breakfast in the fully-stocked kitchen, I would move to the back deck for a little morning flow Yoga or set up to do some work. The deck has a table and chairs and stays shaded until early afternoon so even on the hottest days we were able to enjoy an outdoor lunch. But the afternoons were spent in the back garden, which is an absolute oasis with the heated pool and stunning flowers. The property has reliable wifi and great cell coverage - we were able to work and play without issue. There are a few board games and a badminton net with all the equipment to keep you entertained as well. We were able to keep our bikes in the locked garage, which was an added bonus and we were glad that we brought them - the cycling trails in the area are excellent. We strolled to the end of the street to watch the rowers training on the river and walked down to Lakeshore a few times to enjoy coffee and vegan ice cream at Archtop cafe and margaritas and tacos at El Jefe. Cousins Market was a short jaunt from the house as well, and had incredible produce and prepared foods. The location of Port Credit cannot be beat - we took day trips into Toronto, Niagara and the Grand River. We went to the drive-in theatre in Oakville one night which was maybe a 15 minute drive. Kevin and Laura were wonderful hosts who clearly care about their guests. It was a perfect stay!
