Family was very comfortable here for our stay. House was clean and comfortable. A good amount of renovations going on, but nothing that got on our way or made us uncomfortable. Danish was regularly in contact. We would go back.
My family and dog had such a nice time here. It was close to tons of restaurants and shops as well as a block away from a beautiful waterfront walking path. The house was spacious and comfortable with a beautiful yard view. The only minor change I would make is to have the yard picked up. There was some garbage strewn about and my dog kept trying to eat it
This property is in a great location and had everything we needed for our stay. It is close to the Go train, making it is easy to travel into Toronto. Port Credit has lots of great restaurants within walking distance. It was easy to communicate with the host.
We stayed at Danish's place to attend a wedding. We had guests over a couple of times and were able to host a small bbq with Danish's help. He was responsive and did his best to accommodate our requests (larger mirror, additional towels, etc).
There are 2 bedrooms and a attic bedroom with double beds. Additionally a lounge with a dining table and a nice sun light kitchen with a view to the backyard.

Very disappointing property. The front bottom outdoor step was loose and eventually fell off. The backdoor steps are rotting. Backyard unkept. Portable A/C were not cooling the house down. The inside temp was always 25 degrees.Very poor ammenities. Poor quality cook and dishware in kitchen. Bed room closet door very difficult to open. Paint was peeling off and falling on the bed in bedroom. Very overpriced and poor quality.
I recently stayed at this rental for four days. The house was clean, beds made and ready; bedrooms are roomy and comfortable. Bathrooms are modern and work well (cold water faucet did not function in master bathroom. maybe the feed was not on) Laundry downstairs works great (watch your head - low ceiling in unfinished basement). The neighborhood is quiet, with every kind of food/restaurant on Lakeside Ave, a short walk away an the shores of Lake Ontario around the corner. Close to a little park for walking dogs, playing with kids, or just sitting and enjoying the lake. Easy drive into Toronto, with traffic lighter at night. 40 minutes to an hour midday, 30 minute drive after 8pm. Would stay here again for sure. Thanks so much

Wonderful location in Port Credit
The benefits of this property are the location, in the heart of Port Credit, close to the water and town, with easy access to walking paths, and the home owner, Danish who is attentive and easy to reach.
Unfortunately, the home needs some TLC with mold in the shower stalls, a dank smell in the shared bathroom, broken wardrobe doors in a bedroom, window shades that cannot be opened, and general age related issues.
These were all brought to the attention of the owner who committed to remedy, so you may not encounter the same conditions going forward.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay but would likely not return to this particular property.
The house was at 2 degrees Celsius when we checked. We turned the heat on right away but had to stay in our full winter outerwear for the night as we could see our hot breath when speaking. Kitchen was missing some essential things and also had dirty dishes. I had invited some family over for a birthday and expressed this to the host on advance but still received threats to call the cops all night and him speaking through the camera to our guests. Overall was just uncomfortable in every sense and would not recommend. House was beautiful though.

I’m sorry to hear that your experience wasn’t as expected, but I’d like to clarify a few points.
Heating: The house is usually set to 17°C when unoccupied, and guests are free to adjust the temperature as they prefer upon arrival. If there were any issues with the heating, I would have appreciated you reaching out so I could assist.
Kitchen Concerns: If the kitchen was missing essentials or there were dirty dishes, I wish you had reported it with pictures at the time so I could have addressed it promptly.
House Rules & Noise Complaints: My listing clearly states that parties and events are strictly prohibited, and there is a strict noise policy from 10 PM to 9 AM. You never informed me in advance about hosting a gathering. However, throughout the night, there were multiple noise complaints from neighbors, and my motion-detection camera, which also monitors noise levels, confirmed excessive disturbances.
Smoking & Late-Night Disturbances: Additionally, 6-7 of your guests were smoking in the backyard and speaking loudly at 3 AM, which is completely unacceptable. This is a residential neighborhood, and I must ensure my neighbors' comfort as well.
I strive to provide a comfortable and enjoyable stay for all guests while maintaining respect for house rules and the community. Unfortunately, this stay did not align with those expectations.

Great location but old and cold
We did not receive check-in instructions upon arrival and had to delay entry. Overall the house is cute and well supplied. The beds were not comfortable. With frigid temps outside, we were quite cold, even after hiking the thermostat. No extra blankets were provided other than what was on the bed. No instructions given for fireplace and we were unable to use it. As the house is not renovated, there are minimal outlets available. Trash outside was overflowing from precious occupants and no instructions given to bring bins to the street for pick-up. Yard maintenance was sorely needed. Off-street parking was adequate.
House is old, probably close to 100 years old. Some renos. A little crowded for the 8 of us.
I think the description is a little misleading. Only 3 sleeping areas, not 5. One bedroom with queen bed and sofa bed. One bedroom with queen bed and ensuite bath. One attic room with 2 queen beds. It was a little awkward to split up our group of 8 into the 3 rooms. But we managed. The ensuite is a decent size, but the main bath is quite small. Not too much counter space in the kitchen, so don't expect to do any fancy cooking. The addition off the kitchen is quite nice with big windows into the garden.
Location is about 3 blocks of the Lakeshore Dr. Quiet and convenient.
It's ok, but I wouldn't recommend it for a big group.

Disappointing Stay – Unmet Expectations and Extreme Heat I’m sharing this after attempting to resolve concerns directly with the owner in a respectful manner, but unfortunately, they were unresponsive. The property is in a beautiful neighborhood, with attractive architecture, large windows, and nice furnishings. It has potential—but it is not ready to provide a comfortable stay.We visited during the hottest week of the summer. The house has no central air conditioning, only four portable units and two fans. While technically “functional,” these units could not cool the space. Even after running them continuously, no area of the house was cooler than 84F, even in the early morning.Attic bedroom: Over 100F on arrival, with a single portable unit that made little difference.Second bedroom (converted living room): Best-cooled space, but only reached 84F with drapes closed and the unit running all night.Other spaces: Rooms without AC, such as the back room with large windows, were unbearably hot.The kitchen was stocked with essentials, but the refrigerator struggled in the heat—its interior was around 70F—resulting in spoiled food. Opening windows was not an option due to the lack of screens and the high number of insects. This property could be enjoyable with significant upgrades, but in its current condition, it is not suitable for summer stays. I cannot recommend it until these issues are addressed. We ended up leaving after one night and went to a hotel.

We are unsure how this guest was able to leave a review, as they never stayed at our property. Their reservation was canceled because they intended to host a party, which is strictly prohibited and clearly mentioned in our house rules. Despite this, we issued them a full refund.
We take pride in maintaining a peaceful and enjoyable environment for all our guests, and we appreciate those who respect our policies.
