Beautiful Apt Perfect Location

This historic building had an amazing 3 bedroom 2 bath (1 shower/1 bathtub) apartment on the first floor directly across the square from the Palace of the Popes. The paid/public parking was directly under the apartment and we arranged a week pass for the parking. We couldn't have been better located for our stay in Avignon and nearby towns. Frederic was helpful upon check-in showing us how everything operates. He also provided a Google map of restaurants, services and attractions. We were a family of five and the dining room was perfect for our meals and the living room with the high ceilings a great relaxation after a day of touring. We would definitely stay again!

Perfect location

The accommodations were great and the location ideal. Right across from the Pope’s Palace but still quiet. Had everything you could need with lots of charm. Frederic was great for check in and check out!

Excellent!

The apartment was exactly as it was described and the location was perfect, across the plaza from The Palais des Papes. It was very spacious, and it was very well appointed with everything you could ever need. And it was very clean. We were a party of 5 adults and everyone had their own space. No crowding! Our host Frederick was at the apartment when we arrived and shared a wealth of information with us giving us some wonderful suggestions of places to visit, which we really enjoyed. I would stay there again.

Exactly as Advertised

Upon arrival we were pleased to see that the apartment was as shown in the pictures. Frederic met us at the apartment, provided us with our keys and did a walk through to provide the necessary information. There were four of us (women, friends) staying for a full week. Two of us had the separate bedrooms and two sisters shared the bedroom with the two single beds (although these beds would be more suitable for children). In addition to the three bedrooms, there were two bathrooms - one with a tub and the other a shower. We had a full kitchen including a washer and dryer for our use. In addition, we had a large living room and a quaint dining room. We put the dining room to use by visiting the fresh market and returning to the apartment to prepare a lovely lunch (did this at least a couple of times). The Palais des Papes (Palace of the Popes) is directly across a large square. What a beautiful site every time you left the apartment! It could be a little noisy in the evenings but was usually quiet around 11:00 pm. We were at the apartment from April 20th to April 27th so I do not know how busy/noisy the square would be in the summer months. We were very happy with our choice and it made for a fabulous visit. Would recommend this apartment to friends.
