Perfect Holiday Home

We recently returned from a wonderful stay at this very charming, beautiful property. It is situated in the most picture perfect village with wonderful restaurants and shops just a short walk away. The hosts and locals are extremely friendly and welcoming. The property is cosy and warm if you’re planning to visiting in Winter - It really does make for a perfect stay. We hope to visit again soon!

Fantastic property, with everything you could need in the house. Very tastefully decorated and beautiful inside. Very comfortable bed with luxury bedding. Great shower, which is a big plus. Nicely situated in the town with good parking. Simon was very friendly and not at all intrusive, but a very pleasant guy to chat to. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Lovely part of France

Very nice property with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Very clean and comfortable. We self catered mainly and the gas bbq was a real bonus. Just be aware that although there are two bedrooms there is a gap with a curtain between the rooms. There are some nice restaurants in the town along with some lovely bakeries. Bergheim is a great place to stay for a trip to this area as it’s not too touristy but really pretty and lots of history. Everything is within an easy drive too. Simon the owner was always helpful.

Great gite in Bergheim

We really enjoyed our stay with Simon! The gite was a good size for a group of four that enjoys a cozy space. We especially enjoyed the connected kitchen and living room, since we could fire up the stove, cook, and enjoy all the local wine together! One thing to be aware of is the connected bedrooms. This was fine for us, but may not be 100% clear in the posting (I think the French description makes sense, but the English translation wasn't as clear). The location is wonderful. Bergheim is really well located and cute, with a wonderful Christmas market, and it is far less overrun by tourists compared to nearby Ribeauville or similar. There are many great wineries to try nearby - special mention to Marcel Deiss in town, or Rolly Gassmann just to the north of town.

Ein sehr schönes, ruhiges Haus. Bei hochsommerlichen Temperatur ist es darin allerdings sehr heiß, vorallem in den Schlafzimmern unterm Dach. Auf der kleinen Terrasse vor der Eingangstür lässt es sich aber gut aushalten da immer ein leichter Wind geht. Allerdings ist diese gegenüber vom Hauseingang und der Garage des Vermieters Simon. Sowie auch der Kleine Gartenplatz. Wäre dies etwas privater wäre unser Aufenthalt dort perfekt gewesen. So saßen wir leider nur zum Essen im Freien. Ansonsten stimmt alles wie auf den Bildern.

Der Gastgeber war sehr nett und hätte uns jederzeit bei Fragen geholfen. Die Unterkunft war für uns, Familie mit einem 5jährigen, perfekt. Sowohl Lage als auch Ausstattung der Wohnung sind top. Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Woche im Elsass. Einzig zu erwähnen ist, dass die beiden Schlafzimmer lediglich durch einen Vorhang getrennt sind.Wer einen charmanten Rückzugsort sucht, von dem aus man die Region entdecken kann, ist hier perfekt aufgehoben!

Het huis is fantastisch en zeer comfortabel en brandschoon. Alles wat je nodig hebt is er. De eigenaar Simon is zeer vriendelijk en gastvrij: de houtkachel brandde toen wij aankwamen en er stond een flesje bubbels voor ons klaar. Een absolute aanrader! Wij hebben het héérlijk gehad.

Sehr nette Begrüßung und eine Flasche Cremant dazu.Das Haus ist unglaublich gemütlich und mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht für einen gelungenen Aufenthalt. Besonders der wunderbare Kaminofen war eine große Bereicherung im kalten Januar. Leider war es wettermässig eher dunkel und neblig. Aber das hat ja mit der Unterkunft nichts zu tun.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in einem sehr gut ausgestatteten Ferienhaus. Unser Gastgeber war zuvorkommend, hilfsbereit und hat uns mit Tips weitergeholfen. Wir können die Unterkunft weiterempfehlen und würden selber auch nochmal dorthin fahren.

Perfekt und gemütlich

Das Häuschen ist perfekt ausgestattet, blitzsauber, absolut gemütlich und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Simon ist ein hervorragender Gastgeber, der sich liebevoll kümmert und immer sofort antwortet. (Zum Glück ist sein Deutsch viel besser als unser Französisch!) Wir durften im Garten frische Feigen ernten und zur Abreise hätte er uns sogar mit dem Auto zum Zug gebracht. Bergheim ist ideal, um von dort aus mit den Rädern das Elsass und die Vogesen zu erkunden, es gibt sehr schöne Restaurants und einen hervorragenden Bäcker. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wohlfühloase

Wir haben uns in dem liebevoll und zweckmäßig eingerichteten Haus rundherum wohl gefühlt. Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war herzlich und funktionierte ausgezeichnet. Bergheim ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt, um die Weinstraße und die Vogesen zu erkunden.

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt im Herzen von Elsass

Wir hatten eine wirklich sehr schöne Woche in der Ferienwohnung im Herzen vom Elsass. Die Wohnung ist sehr liebevoll gestaltet, super sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet. Mit der Sauna im Untergeschoss ein perfekter Rückzugsort nach langen Ausflugstagen. Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war einwandfrei. Die Location eignet sich hervorragend um das gesamte Elsass zu erkunden. Burgen, Wandermöglichkeiten, Weinberge, Colmar aber auch Straßburg sind nur einen Katzensprung entfernt. Wir hatten insgesamt trotz einigen Rehentagen eine gute Zeut. Vielen Dank!

Superfijn verblijf

Wij hebben een superfijne week gehad in Bergheim. Het apartement was top en was zeer compleet uitgerust. Misschien één puntje: er zijn 2 slaapkamers met allebei een eigen toegangsdeur, maar tussen die kamers zit een gordijn ipv een muur. Deze constructie begrepen wij niet helemaal. De eigenaar Simon, vonden wij een zeer sympathieke man. een muur

Idéalement placé au calme, maison typique ancienne

Pied à terre idéalement placé sur la route des vins. Passé une semaine en faisant peu de voiture. Cité à découvrir à 3 minutes de la ville de Ribeauvillé bien achalandée. Proximité randonnées, forêts, vignoble et parcs touristiques adaptés aux familles avec enfants
