About this property

This gorgeous apartment has an unbeatable location, central but quiet and its elegance is matched by its spaciousness. It's on the top floor w/elevator access and even has a terrace. It's the perfect place to call home for a little (or a long) while.

This apartment is located in a lovely historic building that dates back 7 centuries. It has been recently updated in a beautiful style of traditional and antique Italian furnishings updated with modern touches.

The apartment has an unbeatable location directly in the center of town. You're right in the heart of everything, yet the apartment is very quiet and peaceful. There are no neighbors on any side of you, and the street below is pedestrian only, which means that it is very quiet at night (no noisy buses or scooters!).

Since you are right in the center of town, you are a 1-5 minute walk from 3 small grocers, 5 or 6 cafes, the main cathedral, 10 restaurants, and a number of shops. It doesn't get more central than this!

The apartment is spacious and full of light. The living area has a comfy couch and armchair, a new TV and DVD player plus iPod deck, as well as a laptop-friendly office area.

The dining area leads onto the terrace, which is equipped with a table and chairs. There is a washing machine in the utility room out on the terrace as well.

The kitchen features stainless steel counter tops, a full-sized refrigerator, 4-burner gas stove top, an electric oven, coffeemaker, dishwasher, and dining table. We love to cook, and you'll find it is fully equipped with cookware and serving utensils.

The bathrooms are beautifully decorated in marble and tile; the downstairs bathroom has a shower, and the upstairs also has a bathtub and and bidet.

You are only a 5-10 minute walk from the train station or the bus station that will take you to Pisa, Viareggio, Firenze, Cinque Terre, and all over Tuscany and the Garfagnana.

Stunning! Perfect place to experience Lucca and Tuscany area

What a gorgeous apartment, so much character, charm and comfort! Very modern, clean, organized and right in the center of Lucca. The balcony is gorgeous. Quiet too! Vanessa and her team of wonderful helpers ( Simonette) made the whole experience easy and convenient. From picking us up and bringing us to the apartment ( otherwise we would have had to drag our luggage through the streets of Lucca as only residents can drive inside the walks) with all our luggage, keeping in contact and then when it was time to leave Vanessa had Stefano come into the city and pick us up. Perfect Italian home for a charming, delightful get away. Loved Lucca, spent the days wandering around the city and walking on the wall, enjoying amazing restaurants! We would love to come back!! A rare gorgeous gem!!

The Perfect Place in Lucca

Not only is the apartment spacious and immaculate, it's location is perfect, right in the heart of the city with any and all amenities nearby. Vanessa provides a great list of restaurants and shops for one to try, or just search on your own. It was a great stay. And the terrace was a perfect place to sit and enjoy and afternoon refreshment - even under the awning in the rain. Vanessa kept in touch in the week preceding my stay so their were no surprises. Emmanuel met me and showed me all I needed to know. I'll certainly be back!

Amazing Apartment

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Vanessa's apartment. The apartment was very big and definitely had old Tuscan charm with many modern conveniences. ( Elevator, full kitchen, washing machine, dishwasher, etc... ) It was very clean and updated and was well furnished and equipped to make any vacation relaxing and enjoyable! It even had a wonderful outdoor terrace to eat out on or just to sit and relax and enjoy the beauty of Lucca! Vanessa herself was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. She was available to answer any question and checked in to see if everything was going well or if you needed anything. Everything was easy from renting, to checking in and leaving the apartment at the end of the rental. I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Lucca and/or Tuscany. The location was easy to get to, with many parking areas close by, as well as, a train station to travel to sights in Tuscany. Shopping was also very easy and convenient too. I would definitely rent this apartment again should I return to the area!!
