Perfect for small families or a couple looking to see the Gulf Highlands, this Gulf Shores Plantation suite offers easy beach access, a shared pool, and a great location near local sights.

You and your loved ones will only be a short walk from the soft white sands of the beach, as well as dining at the Sassy Bass Grill. Shops, restaurants, and bars await in Gulf Shores 15 miles to the east. Fort Morgan is nine miles to the west, packed with historic battlements and boardwalks to explore and access to Dauphin Island with the Mobile Bay Ferry.

Things to know:
Guests will have access to six outdoor pools on the Gulf Shores Plantation grounds plus one indoor pool, and sauna in the Dome Area of Bldg 4.
Some shared amenities may be subject to a small resort fee.

Was definitely not what we were expecting or what we had thought we were paying for. The room had an odor, the bed was the worst, tv worked half the time and the ac didnt work well and was very hot at night. The dishwasher didnt work either. We ended up just leaving early.

We loved how close the home was to the beach and really appreciated the amenities—it had a lot of potential for a great stay. However, the cleanliness was disappointing. When we arrived, the sheets had clearly not been changed from the previous guests. We even found a fake eyelash in the bed, which was really upsetting. I contacted Vacasa right away, and while they acknowledged the issue, the sheets weren’t changed until our last night—after a 5-night stay. It definitely affected our comfort level and experience. With better attention to cleanliness and responsiveness, this could have been a much better stay.

Great view, great place

Very pleased with the accommodations. The unit was clean, the view was great, everyone was helpful and friendly. Love the adult only pool, and the indoor pool and hot tub!

Get away

We have stayed in the Plantations several times. Always love staying here. This time was great too. The only thing I will say is the room we stayed needed some color, pictures on Wall and maybe a tv in the bedroom. However the room was very clean and still nice place to stay.

Great location

We loved being able to walk down the stairs and be so close to the beach. The bed was comfortable. Close to dollar general so we didn’t have to run all the way back to Gulf Shores. The bunk bed was great for my 8 year old. We enjoyed the indoor and outdoor pool and the view from the balcony was wonderful!

The view was great, the a/c was really cold. Issues with the property manager, but not the owner, as far as I could tell. New kitchen appliances worked well, but no ice tray or ice maker. Reported it, but nothing changed.

Gulf Shores Beach

Great location on the beach. End unit with balcony overlooking the gulf. However the property is in Fort Morgan which is about 15 minutes outside of Gulf Shores. Unit is very sparse with no decor and no place to hang towels. There was a small TV which did not pick up local stations very well. Overall we enjoyed our stay here.

Great condo, a few broken things

The condo was clean. It was pretty practice for the price we paid. However the recliner was broken and the dishwasher did not work. The shower head needs fixed it sprays everywhere. We brought our own tv for the bedroom because there isn’t one. The view was so nice and it was the best part of the whole unit. We will definitely be back again!

Sad vacation accommodation

The place was dirty and furniture was uncomfortable. The fire alarm battery was dead and chirped the entire time. The walls had patched up places but hadn't been repainted. Mold on the shower curtain. The pictures made it look cozy but it was not. The location and pool was the only good part. The adult pool had a dirty black ring around the edge which was gross. The elevator was shoddy and had no air flow. The security gate staff were kind and courteous.

Hood Vacay 2023

We enjoyed our stay! We did not enjoy the broken chair and stinky couch ( which I reported with Vacasa and I never got that call back from them to let me know how they would handle it. We did not get extra towels we requested nor a call back on that decision either from Vacasa. I was informed I could wash their towels on the property @ my expense. They (Vacasa) felt they left sufficient towels for my party of 3 for my stay. Lastly the main pool was under construction. This was not mentioned in the booking or by Vrbo or Vacasa. Resulting in an overcrowded pool for all guests @ Plantation East.

Ehhh. Don’t love it don’t hate it either

If you’re looking for fun ambience & happy esthetic, this place isn’t for that. After making the best of it the place was fine for a quick weekend stay. There’s no decor or color. The patio furniture is old and stained, as well as the sofa. The bedroom is plain and sad, no tv. Only 1 small tv in kitchen/living area. Sliding door is old and falling off track, literally fell towards me when opening. Was told that was being replaced soon along with new balcony. Place is decent but it is obvious the owner has lost all interest in it. It’s just a revolving door/pay check, no love is put into the place. But it is decent enough for an inexpensive stay on beach front with pool.
