About this property

Get away to the Blue Mountains - 3 Bedroom Chalet/Cottage

At the top of blue mountain, above the village is a quiet little pocket of chalets and cottages buried in the trees. Swiss Meadows is known for its serenity and optimal location in the blue mountains.

This is our three bedroom, all season cottage/chalet on Nordic Rd in Swiss Meadows. In the warm weather it is a quiet retreat close to nature. In the winter it is a walk to the slopes. During all seasons it’s a gondola down to Blue Mountain Village and close to the vast activities Collingwood has to offer.

The property has parking for 3-4 cars, 2 bathrooms and 3 spacious bedrooms - each has a queen sized bed, one has an additional single, and one has an additional 2 singles. There is a dvd player/tv in the main floor bedroom and a smart tv in the living room. The kitchen includes the basic amenities plus a microwave and keurig machine. We include some light condiments, a few spices and a few general food supplies to make your stay more enjoyable. Utensils, bed linens and towels are all provided. Some additional amenities include: phone chargers, wireless speakers, games cabinet, dvd collection, soaps, beach supplies, outdoor chairs, second floor balcony, fireplace, separate laundry room, Jacuzzi tub.

Walk down the street and ski or take the gondola down to the village. Enjoy the cozy wood fireplace after a day on the slopes or relax in the serenity of location.

In the summer, have a fire and bbq in the firepit out back in the summer. Or enjoy sitting on the spacious deck, watching the stars and enjoying the peaceful location.

First time using vrbo for vacation rental

The property owner was very attentive, informative and helpful with the entire process. Answered all questions I had leading up to the booking in addition to leading up to and during the months stay. The chalet was clean, completely stocked with all necessities and the property was beautifully kept. Lots of room for our family of 4 and our fur baby to spread out and also enjoy time together. Amazing walking/hiking opportunities. A very quiet and friendly neighborhood. Far enough away from hustle and bustle of city life but also close enough to drive to the village or downtown. Exactly what our family needed. Wonderful first experience using VRBO. Would highly recommend this property to anyone who enjoys nature, walks, time with family and friends or a nice retreat alone. The hosts were very accommodating and helpful with any questions that arose. Memories made to look back on for a very long time.

Why they chose this property

Close to beaches and lots of active summer activities, plus loads of winter activities at the doorstep. We fell in love with this beautiful house because of the architecture and beautiful location. The house could be lived in year around as it is completely functional in every way.

What makes this property unique

Location, location, location. Sits at the top of the ski hills of Blue Mountain resort. You can walk out the front door and be on the ski lift in a couple of mins.
