My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here and it was just what we needed after a very difficult summer. The cabin has everything you need and is cozy and looks over a beautiful lake.
small little cabin with a great private beach area. excellent bonfire area. plenty of room for the dogs to run around. plenty of outdoor seating. next time i would rent both cabins and invite more people.
We rented one out of the two cabins on the property. It was beautiful, clean, and furnished when we got in. Best of all, we got help with the Asian beetles!

Great Place
Jim and Deb were great. They were right there if we needed anything during our stay. The cabin was clean and cozy and was perfect to warm up in after a long day of fishing the river. I would recommend this cabin highly and plan on returning again next year.
The little cabin was clean and spotless. The owner was inviting and welcoming and pointed out hiking trails and lake activities. The only downside for me was that there was no internet availability.

Our new favorite place to go!
My husband, 6 year old son and I LOVE this property. Owners were super, cabins had all you need, close enough to enjoy the attractions but remote enough you don't even know they're there! My son actually cried when we left as he wanted to stay a few more days, had to promise we would book the weekend he gets out of school next summer! Can't wait to go back, hope to plan a couple trips next year and for many years to come! Thanks Deb and Jim for a great time.
Deb and jim were awsome, my fiancee and i stayed 5 nights on second night we got married on the property. Deb and Jim have special boats with motors you can rent, as a wedding gift from them they let us use them all day. We loved the place so much this will be our get away every anniversary. Also, lots of big bass on left side of lake along lilly pads

Very woodsy
The wildlife was a little unnerving. We saw a water snake at the beach. During our second night, there was an animal in the attic. These incidents were not the host’s issue. Just unsettling for us.
What a perfect little cabin for a get away! This has everything you want, a cozy indoor space, a fireplace (electric) a back porch overlooking the lake and more! The bed was super comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed. There is no tv, no wifi and hardly any phone service we were able to truly unplug and it was great! A wide variety of books and games were inside as well as a box fan to help cool us at night. About a 30 minute drive to the Silver Lake Sand Dunes, which is what brought us to town. We will hands down stay here again on our next trip.
This property is your home away from home. I’m an over packer. The cabin and property had everything I needed. The quant cabin is comfortable and has plenty of room. It was clean and had full kitchen to prepare meals. The outside is gorgeous. Fishing, kayaking, row boat, rent pontoon boat for a day on this quiet electric motor lake. Peace and quiet. Property owners are professional, friendly, helpful and helpful. We will for sure sure this rare gem.
The couch in the little cabin is so uncomfortable we couldn’t even sit on it for more than a couple minutes. It definitely needs replaced. But other than that, everything was fine. Very clean and we love the area.
This was an impromptu trip but it ended being exactly what we needed. The were some communication issues but it was because of the app and definitely not the host. Who was amazing. She allowed us to use a larger cabin than the one we originally rented and was very flexible and super accommodating. Little to no cellphone signal on property but it ended up being exactly what we needed to unplug.
What a fantastic stay! I can’t say enough good things. The cabin was small and rustic, but well-maintained and very clean. Don’t let the no air-conditioning deter you, The breeze off the lake cools the cabin down nicely at night, and a fan is also provided.
We recommend grocery shopping in Hesperia at Ed’s. (Bait shop is also in Hesperia)
Kayaks, and pedal boat are free to use. Life jackets are also available for boating purposes. There is an assortment of pool noodles and sand toys for the kiddos.
You can catch bluegills all day off the dock, and even some largemouth bass!
Jim and Deb were so kind, and very helpful while we were there.
Be sure to check out Deb’s gift shop above the garage.
And carve out an hour to walk the amazing nature trails on the property
My son and I highly recommend this vacation spot & we cannot wait to return for another stay. Five stars from us!
We had an absolutely amazing weekend! The atmosphere was relaxed and the property was beautiful!! Simple and easy just how you want a weekend away to be!

About the host
Hosted by Jim & Deb Driza
We grew up in Muskegon Michigan and bought the resort when we were newly married. We raised our three children here on our quiet little lake in the country. We have three children and four Canadian grandchildren.
Why they chose this property
We bought the property because we fell in love with it. I was fresh out of college and had just taken my first job teaching. We had some interesting first years here.
What makes this property unique
We have a quiet, peaceful place with lots of outdoor benefits. A beautiful walking trail runs through the back forty acres. The beach is Sandy bottomed with a gradual decline for little ones and bigs ones too!
