The house overlooks a small square planted three trees. The old wooden door and carved wrought iron, gives access to a wide corridor that leads to a small courtyard, and wide stone staircase to access the floor The volume of the apartment, open, increases the impression of space, accentuated by the 3 meters 80 of ceiling.
The space is divided into a living room -repas- office area and a large sleeping alcove and a wardrobe closet doors mirror.
The kitchen is independent with its glass partition, (plate 4 gas burners, extractor hood, electric oven cleaning pyrolysis, microwave, fridge with freezer, small electrical household equipment, washing machine)
The bathroom is lit by two mirrored walls, (vanity unit, shower bath, toilet, detachable drying rack, hair dryer).

Pied-a-terre in medieval Perpiggnan

A complete change from our normal rented, rustic property, with garage in the countryside, the apartment is in the St.Jean Quarter of Perpignan, nestling in the maze of ancient streets. Quiet and very secure, we were completely at home, with the option of cooking and eating "in", or indulging in dining out - the french option of "midday formules" proved very attractive. With a pavement restaurant outside the front door, it was susprising to find so many alternatives within a few 100 yards. Even more surprising was a potager (Maison Delamare), cheaper than the market, a specialist boulangerie (Panisrosa), specialist butcher (chez Guillaume), fromagerie - all within easy walking distance. Every Saturday at 1100, the St.Jean Cathedrale, uniique carillon is played for an hour - a sublime experience. Scheduled Lio bus services to the coast (1 euro each way) and available, escorted wine tours (local pickup) - it would have been easy to spend another 2 weeks there, if not the rest of a lifetime.

Work and play in Perpignan

The apartment was ideal for my purposes -- writing and relaxing. It's located in the heart of the Vieille Quartier, the Quartier St. Jean. Wonderful cafe just across the street, with more just a few blocks walk. The owner is quite accommodating and easy to communicate with. I was able to write one story and start a second, all the while taking the time to relax and watch the world go by in the Place de la Republique. The apartment was all as advertised, tidy and easy to clean, and easy to live in. I hope to be able to return next summer. .

Séjour très agréable

Séjour très agréable dans cet appartement soigné et décoré avec beaucoup de goût et hôtes très sympathiques. Un seul bémol : le manque de luminosité dans l'appartement mais en été, éviter le soleil est un avantage pour une ville comme Perpignan.

Das Appartement ist im Herzen von Perpignan mitten in der Altstadt. Die Wohnung ist perfekt für zwei Personen und sehr schön und individuell eingerichtet. Es war auch sehr ruhig. Die Besitzerin hat uns freundlich empfangen und uns alles in der Wohnung gezeigt und erklärt. Sie ist immer erreichbar gewesen bei weiteren Fragen. Auch der Checkout verlief problemlos. Das Auto kann man ca. 700 Meter entfernt in einem Parkhaus günstig parken. Man kann jederzeit das Parkhaus verlassen und wieder hereinfahren. Das einzige Manko war, dass die Wohnung ein bisschen schmutzig war. Alles in allem kann ich das Appartement weiter empfehlen.

Je suis surprise du commentaire sur la propreté.Dans tous les commentaires précedents, et depuis que cet appartement est en location, il n'y a jamais eu une seule note négative à ce sujet. Un commentaire : pour la réservation, et dans nos échanges suivants, Michaël n'a jamais mentionné qu'il y aurait un bébé de six mois.

Un appartement confortable et très bien équipé.

Un agréable appartement, situé dans un environnement calme, à 5mn à pied du coeur de ville. Très fonctionnel, il est aménagé et décoré avec goût et originalité. Nous tenons à remercier sa proriétaire ainsi que la personne qui nous a reçus, pour leur accueil chaleureux et leur sollicitude. Le point faible est l'impossibilité de se garer à proximité et, à certaines heures, d'accéder en voiture, mais tout a été fait pour nous faciliter les choses. Un séjour agréable, merci encore !

Passte zu der Beschreibung. Aber einige Details sind negativ, das Bad ist unbequem, im Schrank sind die Schubladen unbrauchbar, es gibt keine ordentlichen Tee- und Kaffeetassen und auch die virhandenen Gläser laden nicht zum Wein trinken ein. Das Geschirr ist ebenfalls knapp. Die Heizung funktionierte gut, die Wohnung hat ein angenehmes Ambiente und liegt sehr gut. Die Fenster sind leider überhaupt nicht schalldicht. Die Wihnung liegt aber in einer wenig frequentierten Gasse, deshalb war es nicht schlimm. Aber im Sommer?

J'ai lu vos commentaires, Vous écrivez à propos des fenêtres : " "Malheureusement les fenêtres ne sont pas du tout insonorisées ". Il y a 3 hautes fenêtres : celle côté cour en 2 parties, et celle qui est fixe sur la rue de L'Ancienne Comédie, ces 2 fenêtres sont des FENETRES DOUBLE VITRAGE 4X16X4 avec du GAZ ARGON et TRAITEMENT VITRAGE . La 3eme; coulissante, placée avant la pose de la grille de protection bleue, a des vitres antieffraction qui ne protègent que du bruit, je veux la changer puisqu'elle n'a plus d'utilité. Je vais ajouter, dans l"annonce, des photos faisant apparaître le vitrage isolant. Si vous le pouvez, et le voulez, je vous invite, éventuellement, à corriger cette partie dans vos commentaires. Pour le reste je vais ajouter des tasses à café. Pour le thé,'il y a 2 théières, mais il y a des mugs et pas de tasses. Wonderful Apartment for Exploring Perpignan

This quiet and comfortable apartment on a pedestrian street in the historic city center provides for a relaxing visit to the city with everything you need within close walking distance - bakeries, food stores, restaurants and historic sights. The owner is a delight to work with and showed us great flexibility when tavel plans shifted last minute for both our arrival and departure.

Great place to stay in Perpignan

My husband and I spent almost three weeks in this apartment, and thoroughly enjoyed it. The location is great for visiting all parts of the city, yet quiet as well. It has everything you need for an enjoyable stay.

C'est une caractéristique de ce secteur sauvegardé, caractérisé par des petits hôtels particuliers , tous construits selon un même schéma, mais chacun avec leur particularité L'appartement est plus lumineux à l'automne et l'hiver. En été le soleil trop haut, entre moins, ce qui est un avantage à Perpignan qui est une ville très chaude. Aucun n'a "de vue" , sauf celle des toits , s' il y a une terrasse sur le toit. ( exceptionnel dans ce type d'habitation)

Delightful apartment

A beautiful, calm, quiet, comfortable apartment in the old part of town. Perfect for restaurants and bars and only 20 minutes from the bus/train station to access some pretty seaside towns. The apartment was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Thank you for a very happy stay in Perpignan.

Du calme, du charme et du caractere au coeur de la vieille ville

L'appartement de Colette vous séduira par son caractère, l'élégance de la décoration et surtout le calme en plein coeur de la vieille ville. Situé dans la ville historique tout est à proximité :patrimoine architectural, commerces de bouche, ateliers d'arts... les parkings sont très proche aussi de l'appartement où on laissera sa voiture pour découvrir cette belle ville à pieds. Les photos montrent tout le charme de l'appartement mais ne rendent pas l'atmosphère chaleureuse qui fait qu' on a hâte d'y revenir.
