The home was as advertised. Instructions and rules were clear and readily available. Check in was seamless. Andrew communicated promptly responded right away when I brought an issue to his attention. He was particularly helpful when an issue not of his or the home’s making arose. We would stay here again.
We where coming in for a concert and this place had what we needed for our group definitely would recommend if you have a large group. Will definitely be back!
Overall the property was great. The backyard is covered in trees which is nice, however, that meant cushions and such outside was covered in mold/mildew. The fans in the bathroom are caked in dust - one of the things I look at to determine how in depth a cleaning is. There was a mattress standing up in the closet downstairs which made the closet worthless, but we used only the upstairs anyway. The furniture was ok, but was definitely worn. I loved the layout of the house and overall would stay here again with no problem, these are just small critiques that are easily addressed, but not impactful overall.
We needed a jumping off point for a trip to visit colleges and Museums in Raleigh/Chapel Hill area. this property was incredibly convenient and had plenty of room for all. The rooms are large, each with its own very nice sized bathroom and walk-in closet. The neighborhood was quiet and safe and the backyard was pretty and peaceful.
House was perfect for our needs. We were there for my mother’s 95th birthday party which was close by. Convenient location, very close to grocery store, restaurants, etc.... house was very clean and as pictured. We enjoyed the fire pit one evening. Kitchen well stocked. Andrew was a fabulous host!
First of all this was our first time using Vrbo and I must say it didn’t disappoint! The house was spacious and clean. A huge bonus was a bathroom for each bedroom. The owners communicated promptly and we had zero difficulties. Fantastic!
We stayed here for 5 nights while in town for a wedding. This place is not only clean and quiet, it is walking distance to a grocery store and several restaurants. I LOVE when the hosts supply shampoo, body wash and laundry detergent. The kitchen is well stocked to prepare your own meals and each room has it's own bathroom!! Communication with the manager was easy! I would return here for sure!!

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Disliked: Cleanliness
Did not meet expectations
This is a nice home in a great neighborhood and convenient for stays near the city. However, the home simply was not clean, poorly stocked, the TVs did not work properly and the outdoor area was not in the condition shown on the site. We had to clean bathrooms kitchen and kitchen floor before unpacking.

Apologize for any inconvenience. We are upgrading the house outdoors in between stays. For indoors if there is any issue we want to be contacted to address any issues. Simply put, we have contact info inside with direct # for us to immediately come out.
I hosted Thanksgiving here for my family and they had a good time. Positives about this house are that it is roomy & there are quite a few different places to hang out. Communication with these guys was good beforehand & check in was easy. TV's in the living room & downstairs were nice, we brought an XBox for the kids. The living room is nicely decorated. Pets are allowed, but I didn't see where to add pets in the checkout, so I was billed for that afterwards. I now realize you have to add them when you are initially putting in the info, not afterwards. This was my first VRBO, so lesson learned. Also, one of my dogs broke out with some strange rash on her muzzle from the yard. There was straw covering the grass so I'm not sure if there was a chemical in the yard that caused it. Who knows, maybe she is allergic to hay/straw so beware of that if your dog has allergies/skin sensitivity.
Pre-Thanksgiving issues: The home was clean on the surface, but the kitchen needs some work. I had to clean the floor because my socks were filthy from walking on it. Every single dish in the kitchen needed to be rewashed to be usable and the pots and pans were unusable since they were all nonstick with the nonstick scraped off. There was coffee grounds in the machine and toast crumbs under the toaster and the utensil drawers were a jumbled mess with food crumbs in there as well.
The spring mattresses in the 2 bedrooms are cheapy and uncomfortable and they also need to clean out under the beds. Carpets looked nice, however.
I was sent a bill for getting wine on a dish towel and accidentally breaking a cheap tchotchke in the kitchen. I can't say how much because I'm not allowed to in the review, but it was petty and I emailed him when I left the home to inform him of these things thinking that was the right thing to do. I should have just thrown those two items the trash and they would have been none the wiser, but I really did not think in a million years that be sent a bill for something so frivolous considering all the washcloths and dish towels already came with their own stains. I was also given a 3 stars for cleanliness when in all honesty, I left it cleaner than when I got there, but it is what it is, my word against theirs. My mom being a mom told me to take pictures of everything just in case, but I didn't. Another lesson learned. In summary, a nice place to hang out, but be extra careful about every single thing or a bill is in your future.

Hello, as the property manager, we have rules and regulations to protect the house from damages and provide a good place for future guests wanting to stay. The pet fee was sent but never paid as well as wine stains left on towels, decoration was broke, tv remote missing. Paraphernalia was found on back deck and inside. There was no attempt to pick up dog waste either in the yard. There are no chemicals laid in yard besides straw and grass seed to keep the yard in good condition. All together we try to provide a great place for each guest but we do have fees and rules like other homes to continue to provide a home for others. If future guests have any questions please ask if you have them prior to arrival or during your stay and I will reply as soon as possible to better assist.
My friends and I had a great time staying here while we met up to go to Raleigh. It was a perfect place to stay, and Andrew was very easy to coordinate with throughout the reservation status and our stay.
