The location is very nice with lots of grocery shopping and restaurants close by. The apartment itself is spacious with amenities as described and shown in the photos. The bedrooms are spacious and very quiet for sleeping. Good access to local buses and metro to get around the city. We were very happy with the rental overall.
Enjoyable apartment near bus route
This apartment was located outside of the core area of Paris, but it was an easy, single bus ride to City Hall and Notre Dame. The bus stop was across the street from the apartment, while the metro station was approximately an 8-10 minute walk. The location was also a short walk from the famous Père LaChaise Cemetery (the final resting place for Jim Morrison and Oscar Wilde, just to name a few). We would probably not have made the trip to the cemetery had we not been staying so close to it.
Checking in was simple and the owner was in contact with us prior to check-in to let us know how to receive the keys. The apartment itself was spacious and orderly. We had all the amenities we needed for our stay, including a washer, dryer, dishwasher, and all of the kitchen and washroom necessities.
We encountered a problem when we were trying to connect to the WiFi, and the owner responded within 12 hours with a simple solution that worked immediately.
There is a bakery (boulangerie) and a lovely restaurant right across the street (literally a 30 second walk). There are many other restaurants nearby as well.
Overall, this apartment is located in an area where we felt safe and well-connected to all of the must-see areas of Paris. We would recommend staying here, and would visit again.
Appartement très confortable et bien équipé. Prooriétaire et concierge disponibles. Bus et métro faciles d'accès.
Environ 20-30 de métro des attraits principaux.
Je le recommande!
This apartment is in a great location - not too central, therefore prices in cafes, restaurants, etc, are a bit cheaper than central Paris. Many restaurants, bars and cafes only a stone’s throw away. Great subway links - Alexandre Dumas on Line 2 is the one to use from the Gare de Nord, and Gabetta on Line 3 for central Paris (Gambetta Square is a great place too, incidentally, if you want to sit and watch the world go by). Vincent was easy to deal with - always responded promptly. The apartment itself was very spacious and full of character. Would recommend.
Sweet home away from home
Really enjoyed this comfy, cozy home in a quaint area of the 20th district. Restaurants, a boulangerie, and a market are all across the street. The beds were extremely comfortable! Only downside is that we had to spend 25 minutes each time going back and forth to the tourist areas of Paris.
Thank you Mary for your comments.
As for the travel time, I encourage you to check the prices of properties in the centre of Paris. It's more than double my prices. That's why you have a little travel time by bus or metro, like all Parisians going to work!
Cozy and relaxing place with everything you need!
Where do I start? Vincent's place was a refuge after walking all over Paris each day! Cozy, quiet and filled with all the amenities you need, Vincent makes you feel like you are in your own home. He gave great tips on where to eat and even hooked us up with the amazing restaurant right across the street when we arrived late on our first night. For those looking for a great place outside the hustle and bustle of Paris, this is the place for you. We highly recommend. There were three adults and a two-year old and we had plenty of space. This location also truly has two separate bedrooms (some on the site suggest two rooms but you end up with a fold out couch, but not here!). We would definitely stay again!
