We're glad you were able to make it into Chicago and enjoyed your stay. I'm sorry you found it sometimes warm.. Our guests typically use the fans and draw the house curtains as we have indicated on our house tips and that keeps things cool in the summer. We like to open the screened balcony door in the evening to let in the lake breezes at night too. We are always on hand for questions to help our guests with that if they text or call. We do want you to be comfortable and not find it hot or stuffy ever. And we were glad you enjoyed hearing and experiencing the waves from the beach at the house. By using an "aroma machine" in the house you added to the humidity and the AC wasn't able to keep up. Cleaning is very important to us. We want to make sure everything is up to a high standard of cleanliness for everyone who stays with us. Therefore, we do not allow for smoking of any kind in the house or outside on the balconies, patio, front door, or in the garage as it makes things extremely difficult to clean properly for our future guests.

You were with us much too short of a time...and it was certainly a little chilly during your stay...so please return. I hope your little ones enjoyed the beach and the parks and you found us a comfy destination. Thanks again, Abe and we look forward to having your family again!
