Secluded cabin only minutes from the Buffalo National River at Ponca

Our handcrafted log cabin with wrap around porches sits on a wooded hillside overlooking a pond with views of the valley beyond. Full kitchen and bath. Private downstairs bedroom with queen bed. Large upstairs loft with 2 queen beds and one futon. Living room with gas fireplace. WiFi and smart TV. Bring your Prime or Netflix log in and stream your movies. Secluded and comfortable, yet close to the National Park, hiking, canoeing and swimming. Horseback riding available by reservation. Fire pit right by the pond . We do not allow fishing at this time, but may resume at a later date. Base rate is for two guests with each additional guest at $20 plus tax. Three night minimum stay on major holidays.

The property was very clean and well maintained. The ACs worked great and were well appreciated after being outside in the July heat! The only appliance that didn’t work was the toaster but certainly survivable!!! :)The location was well situated for our trip. It was very quiet and peaceful.As it is 8-10 miles from the nearest station or quick shop make sure to take enough, ice and supplies. The owners were very nice and helpful.

It was a beautiful cabin. Very clean, cozy and had everything we needed. The wrap around porch was perfect for sitting and drinking coffee in the mornings and then enjoying the cool air of the evenings. Far enough off the highway there was no road noise, just peacefulness and seclusion.

Great get away

Beautiful location tucked away in the Boston mountains. Clean cabin with full amenities for a family. The location is close to Ponca and all the wonders of Buffalo National River.

Babymoon weekend getaway

I recently stayed at the Stonewall Cabin for two days with my son, and it was a fantastic mini-vacation. To be honest, I was a little worried that an "outdoor cabin" might be dusty or rustic in a way that felt uncomfortable, but this place was nothing of the sort.It felt like a true home. Everything was exceptionally well taken care of, from the comfortable beds and cozy sofa to the high-quality linens. It is clear that a lot of heart goes into decorating and maintaining this property.The location is perfect—quiet, lovely, and tucked away in a spot that feels very peaceful, and it’s incredibly close to great hiking and outdoor activities.A huge thank you to Toni, who was incredibly responsive and helpful with all our questions about local hikes and the area. Spring Break Getaway

Our family stayed in this cozy cabin during Spring Break. It is a short drive to several trailheads that lead to some of the most beautiful views. The owner is knowledgeable about the area and able to make recommendations about which trails are right for your group. The cabin was well stocked for all our needs. We would definitely stay here again!

Elk trip

Cozy Little Cabin

Linens and property were clean and nice. There was a little bit of an odor and mouse droppings all over the porch, but that just comes with a place out in the woods. There is a pretty pond, but no fishing is allowed. I really appreciated the good AC and good WiFi.

Hi Pliny, We're so glad you came to enjoy our cabin and found things neat and clean. The droppings on the porch are not from mice, they are from the local bats who come through and eat the mosquitos at night. They will stop to rest there on the porch and then they are gone. I try to sweep up after them daily, but had to be gone a lot during your stay. I have tried for years to discourage them, but nothing works. They are a vital part of the ecosystem here. I apologize for them.

Beautiful property

Beautful property with a wrap around porch. Fully stocked kitchen. House was very clean, fireplace provided more than enough heat. Only con was the comforatbility of the bed although they weren't bad a mattress topper would go a long way.

Secluded Cabin

The owners made it easy with directions to get to cabin and check in. Cabin is secluded and the outdoors is very quiet. My wife and myself had a great time here. Cabin is very well maintained. You might need four wheel drive. 😁😁

Hi, I'm Toni and I live here in the Ozarks on our 180 acre ranch called Rimrock Cove Ranch. We are a secluded private property located within minutes of the Buffalo National River. My husband and I met on this river and have lived near it for all of our married lives. We love to share the beauty of our surrounding area with our guests so we created Stonewall Cabin for our guests to enjoy.

Why they chose this property

The Buffalo National River area has been our favorite place to be for all of our adult lives. We love the beauty of the Ozark Mountains and the richness it offers for exploration and enjoyment of nature and outdoor activities.

What makes this property unique

Our cabin was handcrafted and built by us. The oak beams and trim were harvested and sawed right here on our property. The cabin sits in a welcoming and peaceful location overlooking a pond with a view of the valley beyond. We also offer personally guided horseback trail rides on our property to our cabin guests by reservation when you book the cabin. Contact me for details and to reserve this activity.
