About this property

Boutique mountain condo with BREATH-TAKING views in the heart of it all!

2 Bedroom, 1.5 Bathrooms, Sleeps 6. Welcome to our cozy condo in the middle of the Rockies, where there is always lots to do! Located in the Canmore Crossing Complex, our "Happy Place" includes two bedrooms and a queen pull-out sofa in the main living area. The spacious master bedroom features a king size bed and the second bedroom/den (no window) includes a queen bed, both with luxurious linens. Both rooms have remote controlled ceiling fans. The bedrooms share a large "jack and jill" bathroom, which includes a bathtub and separate shower. There is also a convenient half-bath off the main living area.

We are family friendly, and offer a Harmony "Play and Go" portable crib/playpen, and a booster seat which can be attached to a dining chair for the little ones. Our games, books and dvd's are suitable for kids of all ages.

The kitchen is very well-stocked to meet all your culinary needs, and we will supply the coffee and tea to get your morning started! Grocery stores, liquor stores, restaurants and downtown are all within walking distance. Underground heated parking access is available, as well as ski and bike storage. A stone gas fireplace will keep you warm after taking to the slopes in the winter.

Our corner deck includes a barbecue and features incredible views of the Grotto and Lady MacDonald Mountains. Enjoy our large television with a good cable package, excellent WIFI, a DVD player with movies and a good selection of board games for both kids and adults. We are part of a three building condo unit. Two rooftop hot tubs in the adjacent buildings offer spectacular panoramic views of the Rocky Mountains, and there is an indoor hot tub in our building. There is also an exercise room in each building, and Elevation Place is nearby, which has a swimming pool, climbing gym and full fitness centre. The ROAM Transit bus stop is across the street, to take you around Canmore and nearby Banff if you do not want to drive.

In the condo we have a binder including many suggestions on places to explore in the area. Come and indulge yourself in this cozy boutique mountain retreat--you will find out why Canmore has always been our happy place. Please feel free to contact us with any questions. We'd love to hear from you!

Just a gem of a place in a perfect location. Walk to the grocery or Tim Hortons for breakfast, super easy to locate. Very secure, lock system works great. Extremely well furnished and stocked! Classy, comfy, just couldn't be better! And Cindy very responsive and accommodating. 10 out of 10!

Perfect for a family. Canmore is a great location, and this condo is close to everything, not to mention unbelievable views. The unit came stocked with anything you could need. Towels, cooler, bed sheets, blankets and any amenity you can imagine. A very cozy home that felt like you were the guest of a gracious host.

Absolutely perfect. Comfortable, clean, and easy access to Banff and Hwy 1. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and the hosts were extremely accommodating. We will definitely stay here again!Also…don’t buy staples before you get there. The grocery store, liquor store and Canadian Tire are across the street!

Great condo with a wonderful view of the mountains. Secured building with a comfortable bed and it has everything you need. We were walking distance to restaurants and shops and groceries. Hosts were very helpful and responded quickly. They helped us find bear spray since I wanted it for an excursion. Highly recommend this condo!PS. We rented bear spray for 10/day at GearUp Mountain Sports Rental which is approximately a 5 minute walk from the condo.

Loved this place - it was quiet and in a great location. I easily walked to the town center multiple times. I'm so glad we stayed in Canmore versus Banff - the crowds there were crazy. We'd happily return to this place - so many hikes left to do!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this VRBO. The location is perfect; a quick 5 minute walk to the heart of downtown with a grocery store in the same parking lot.The furniture in the living room is all leather & comfy; the beds were very comfortable & the rooftop hot tub is such a nice treat. The under ground parking was convenient as well. Rob & Cindy also went the extra steps to provide a binder to answer all your condo related questions, how to check out, things to do around the area, etc.10/10 - would stay again !!

Loved the room two showers was awesome! View was super nice, location was great as well, underground parking was a major plus. Only one downside was the hot tub didn’t have any jet settings and was a little run down, however it was still beautiful on the roof. Would stay again for sure!

The Perfect Home Base for the Canadian Rockies!We absolutely loved our stay! This condo was spotlessly clean, incredibly comfortable, and perfectly located. It truly felt like the ideal home base for our Canadian Rockies adventure. After long days of sightseeing, it was wonderful to come back to such a comfortable and welcoming space, relax, and enjoy the beautiful mountain surroundings.The location is hard to beat. We were able to easily enjoy downtown Canmore while also having convenient access to Banff and everything beyond. During our stay, we packed in an incredible amount—Lake Louise, Moraine Lake, Johnston Canyon, Peyto Lake, Bow Lake, Emerald Lake, Lake Minnewanka, Two Jack Lake, the Icefields Parkway, Columbia Icefield and Skywalk, Yoho, Kootenay, Banff, and even a drive toward Jasper. We also explored the Bow Valley Parkway and spent plenty of time shopping and enjoying both Canmore and Banff. No matter where the day’s adventures took us, this was such a great place to come home to.Cindy was an absolutely wonderful host. She was welcoming, responsive, helpful, and made everything about our stay easy from beginning to end. You can tell that care has been put into making sure guests are comfortable and have everything they need.We experienced breathtaking scenery and even spotted a beautiful red fox, but somehow managed to spend all that time exploring the Rockies without seeing a single bear! Apparently, we’ll just have to come back.

Perfect location! We enjoyed downhill skiing at Sunshine resort and Lake Louise, local hiking and cross country skiing and spent a day at the Nordic spa! The condo was perfect location to everything and so comfortable during the cold snowy winter weather. Spectacular holidays in the Rockies!

Cindy fell in love with the mountains of Canmore when she visited them with her Grandma as a little girl. As a University of Calgary student, she and Rob got engaged at Lake Minnewanka near Canmore. They have been married now for over 35 years and have two adult sons. They have enjoyed coming back to Canmore regularly and are very happy to own property in the town they pledged their love.

Why they chose this property

Once you see the mountains of Canmore you will understand why we love this town. The views are incredible, and there is always lots to do, from hiking, skiing to picnicking. There are so many amazing restaurants to choose from. We hope to retire in Canmore someday.

What makes this property unique

We love this condo because it is within walking distance to downtown and all the amenities you require. Sometimes we park our vehicle in the parkade and it doesn't move until we grudgingly have to go home! We fell in love with the view, the roof top hot tubs and the stone fireplace in the living area. This is our happy place--our home away from home.
