Casa Luciernaga is perched on top of hill surrounded by the lush tropical jungle and with a spectacular view of the coastline.

The perfect place for bird watchers, if this is something you like, our house is the perfect place for you, everymorning we are visited by several diferent birds.
You will enjoy a wonderful view from any of thbedrooms, be ready to enjoy views of the costline, mountains or valley.
We are at about 15-20min walk to the beach, the distance from the husle and busle of town wil assure you wonderful peaceful evenings and nights to retrieve, enjoy and relax.
It is a short walk to the beach and the center of town where you will find an array of restaurants and great shopping.

You’ll love Luciernaga because of the 360° view, private pool, outdoor space and ambiance. Perfect for 3 couples or a family with children. The small 3rd bedroom has a queen size bed.

If you are looking for a place that’s a little out of the way in Sayulita, then this is your place. The pool area is private but gets great afternoon sun. Coupled with the sounds of the neighbourhood, this spot is where you want to be if you enjoy being immersed in Mexico and not sequestered from it.The kitchen and outdoor dining is great, but in all honesty, outside of breakfast, we ate all our meals in town since there are so many good options.We rented a golf cart like we always do in Sayu and with the steep climb to this place, it’s recommended but not essential.Would choose here again on our next visit!

Everything was exactly as promised - a beautifully appointed home in a private jungle setting. Nancy was an amazing host - she helped coordinate our transportation to and from the airport and also put us in touch with the golf cart rental company and a wonderful chef, Andrea, who prepared us a delicious brunch and dinner during our stay.

We loved number 8. Its location puts you in the hills and yet its only a 15 min walk to the centre of Sayulita. The road up to it, is a little steep but it's short. The house is well looked after and the management team are amazing and very 'guest-centric'. We only had a week so spent a lot of time at the pool and loved that it was private and quiet. Look out for 'bird hour' just before sunset when many birds come to the pool fountain for a drink. We would certainly book again.

Wonderful Stay

This house is beautiful! We have stayed at rental houses all over the world and this was one of the best. The outdoor spaces are incredible. Beautiful private pool. Outdoor dining table. Outdoor lounge patio. Beautiful grounds. The inside is a bit cozy but everything you need including gorgeous views from the bedrooms. It was perfect for our family of four with a four year old and a teenager.

Cool Place!

Such a cool place... once you get there. Road there is dirt w/huge potholes. We had to back up twice to get a run at it. Definitely recommend a 4-wheel drive for access. Other than that, it's pretty close to town, the view was beautiful, house was very comfortable, pool was amazing and the hosts were very receptive. We had a great time!

Amazing oasis experience

One of the best properties I’ve stayed at! Such a beautiful location surrounded by plants and beautiful birds. The hosts are so nice and responsive and will help with anything. If you want a quiet experience with privacy this is the place to pick. Only a 10 min walk to downtown but be ready for some hills! 5 stars! Gracias!!

This property is really well appointed, clean, comfortable and conveniently located to the town of Sayulita. The host was responsive, accommodating, and helpful with setting up transportation, even when there was a miscommunication about who was arranging the golf cart. There were just two things that I wished we had known about in advance:1) The road up to the house is a very steep, loose dirt road and the house is all the way at the top. We had two taxis (including one that the host arranged) that could not make it up the hill. So I would definitely recommend having the golf cart delivered right as you are arriving. You will need it to get your luggage up to the house. I wish someone would have communicated this to us. It all worked out, but would've been nice to know in advance.2) This is completely out of the host's hands, however worth mentioning to future visitors. There is a noisy dance club nearby and you might as well be in the club while you are trying to sleep. We were traveling with our kids and not keeping late hours, so I wish we knew about this as well. Sadly it was not a very restful few days. Otherwise, the. place was great and I think it would be a wonderful choice for the right group. Thank you for having us!

I just would like mention that we recommend a transportation service from town that would never leave you at the bottom of the street, it was bad that the taxi company you had chosen had done that to you. There are not bars or dance clubs near the house, but, there was a Quinceañera party in the neighborhood on your booked days (yes we never know when people may have a big fiesta) and although there are not happening all of the time there may be private celebrations near us every once in a while. Mexico is a festive country, it is not good that this disturbe your holidays, however we still hope you consider us for future vacations, it has been a pleasure to host you.

Sayulita Experience

This was a beautiful property and perfect for our party of 6. It was a nice and peaceful escape from the bustling and fun downtown. We really enjoyed the outdoor areas to relax. We had all of the amenities needed to prepare breakfast, snacks and blended margaritas. I definitely recommend golf carts to go into town. Nancy was great to help arrange our transportation to and from the PV airport and quick to respond to any questions we had. We would absolutely stay here again.

Fantastic stay!

We really enjoyed out stay! The house is beautiful, spotless and better in person than the photos! At night you can hear the waves crashing on beach and the views are 360 degrees from the mountains to the coast and town. The drive up the hill to the house is steep, we had no issues in a 4 door sedan. If renting a golf cart for the week, make sure to get a lithium battery cart as they have more power for the hill. Having the pool after a day at the beach was magnificient, the sunrises and sunsets are marvalous! Great stay, would recommend this house.Having read the other reviews, I was prepared for the road to the house to be rough. It is. We used a driver (recommended by host) to/fromPVR. Otherwise we were on-foot. The walk down the hill and into town was easy enough, but would not be work for anyone who isn’t fully mobile. The climb up the hill will have you ready to jump in the pool.I was a little confused about the layout of the house. Essentially it is a spiral with the three bedrooms having at least one stair between them. The primary bedroom has an attached bath, with the toilet and shower being outside (private via foliage). The other two bedrooms share a bath on the main level. The style, decor, and quality of this home is excellent. You just have to be okay with the hill and stairs (38 from pool deck to master bath).Another reviewer commented on the cleaner / gardner. I asked the host and was provider their schedule. Easy enough.We did have an emergency during our stay. The hosts were very responsive and helpful.Comfortable beds. Nice linens. Decent water pressure (the hot water takes a minute to travel to the highest point in the home but with a little patience you’ll be just fine). Well equipped kitchen. And a nice stash of toiletries under the master sink if you forget something. For all the curly girls, there are TWO defusers for the hair dryer. If you want to explore Sayulita, but avoid the noise of nightlife, this is a great spot.

Paradise Found

Our family, two sons and their wives recently spent 10 days at this beautiful Casa! Our host arranged taxi service, there and back to airport, which was great not to be concerned in finding the residence. We had excellent housecleaning and pool management. The home was absolutely gorgeous, and we enjoyed many meals there as it was well stocked with staples, paper products, towels, bedding, fans, rugs, ac, but really not required. We spent a lot of time at the pool…..you feel like you are truly in a tropical jungle. Would highly recommend………as in previous review….the climb up to the Casa is a little daunting, so anyone with limitations this would not work.

Relaxing and private retreat in this hilltop home

We absolutely loved our stay at this hilltop home in Sayulita! The property offered the perfect blend of privacy, safety, and comfort. Tucked away above town with breathtaking views of the ocean, sunsets and lush surroundings. The house itself was beautifully designed with a great floor plan and a private pool. One of my favorite moments was having massages on the patio while the kids swam. Such a peaceful and memorable afternoon. I also cherished my quiet morning coffee in the living room, taking in the view before the day began. As others have mentioned, the road up to the house is steep. We found that the golf cart actually handled it better than our rental car (a Toyota RAV4) so having both was useful for getting around town. The staff was exceptional. So helpful and responsive in the lead up to our trip and their recommendations for activities, restaurants, and massages really elevated our experience. Truly top-notch service. This home gave us the relaxing escape we were hoping for, and we only wish we could’ve stayed longer. I wouldn’t hesitate to return or stay it one of their properties again. Highly recommend!

Beautiful Spot!

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Luciérnaga! The property is incredibly beautiful with all the plans and tress and birds - an absolute paradise! The house was very clean when we arrived and was cleaned once while we were there as well as the pool being maintained a few times. It would be great to have a schedule for these interruptions so we could have planned to be out of the house/not using the pool during these times. Nancy helped us arrange a transport to and from the airport, which was awesome. The walk to town is a bit treacherous, but also incredibly interesting. There is a dog at the neighbors house (Rocko), and if you are nervous, the family there will help out - they were very sweet!The kitchen at the house is quite basic and dated. We would would have loved to have a few more things such as a tea kettle, and a few large bowls/serving dishes. However, it's easy to forget about these minor things when looking out the window at the ocean or chilling by the pool in the jungle oasis!
