Located in the heart of the castles and close to the Beauval zoo park.
Quiet house not overlooked with nice enclosed garden, with garden furniture and barbecue.
You will find two bedrooms including a landing with 1 bed 140x190 each and a sofa bed in the living room. All bedding is new.
Bathroom with shower, sink, washing machine, and hairdryer, separate toilet.
Kitchen with oven, microwave, dishwasher, induction hob, fridge freezer, coffee maker, kettle and toaster.
A television (usb socket); wifi and board games can keep your evenings occupied.
Sheets and towels are at your disposal as well as the childcare
Cleaning fee 40 euros

Property was a good size for a couple. The stairs were quite steep so not sure i would be happy staying there if i still had young children. Beds extremley hot despite thee fans. If another heatwave, would suggest an air conditioning unit. Great location. Lovely little gite

A lovely quiet place to stay

We had a very nice time in this accommodation. It was the ideal starting point for us to visit various castles along the Loire. We would love to come back and can only recommend it.

Great experience

We loved staying at this location. Excellent communication with the host. It was peaceful and had everything we needed. It was also a great central location for exploring the many chateaux. We recommend.

Perfect location in the heart of the Loire valley. Tranquil setting for a relaxing holiday beautiful view perfect for stargazing and reading in the large garden. cleanliness was slightly below par. Bedding was a little worn, provided towels albeit clean were old and discoloured , dust under beds and bedside tables bathroom shelf and window ledges in the bathroom and kitchen required a clean prior to use. Property did not make it clear that the second bedroom was open therefore privacy affected. Staircase may not be suitable for some as it is open and no handrail microwave, oven and fridge freezer provided lack of larger cooking facilities for moules Information re the area would have been helpful. IE nearest supermarket. Market days local towns and points of interest. no information for recycling and refuse collection provided by the hosts bbq was considered dangerous just a griddle on top of a pile of bricks. Luckily my husband is a trained chef and experienced in using a BBQ was able to use this after a thorough clean of the griddle we were able to enjoy cooking outside very disappointed to receive an email Informing us we had damaged and attempted to conceal a broken sunlounger which we have refuted. We did however notice a stain in the shower caused by one of our toiletries had there been sufficient cleaning products and an adequate cloth could have easily been removed . The host is proceeding to charge an additional disproportionate cost for this .

Pontlevoy cottage

Very good, clean, well equipped, quiet. Nice area with easy access to lots of chateaux etc. only suggestion is for better/more indoor seating there is only the sofa, fine for 2 but limited fir 4 people.

Volledig ingerichte gite, alles was aanwezig. Vlak bij goede bakker en supermarkt, de gite ligt op loopafstand van het dorp. Veel privacy. Goede schuur voor fietsen. Fijne omheinde tuin. Er is veel te doen in de omgeving, veel kastelen op fietsafstand, prachtige dierentuin. Goed en snel contact met eigenaren.

Der Garten ist sehr schön, das Häuschen relativ klein. Bei schlechtem Wetter wäre ein längerer Aufenthalt schwierig. Das Geschirr und die Kochutensilien sind sehr abgenutzt. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und der Standort sehr gut, um die Loire-Schlösser und Städte wie Tour, Orleans oder Chartre zu besuchen. Auch Radtouren sind von dort aus gut möglich.

Un excellent séjour dans une maison très bien située et parfaitement équipée 

Nous avons passé une super semaine dans cette belle maison, idéalement située entre le Zoo de Beauval et les châteaux de la Loire. L’emplacement est parfait pour découvrir la région. La maison est très bien équipée : rien ne manque, tout est pensé pour que le séjour se passe au mieux. Le cadre est calme, parfait pour se reposer après une journée de visites. Gros point positif: le jardin!! Nous recommandons cette location sans hésiter.
