Charming rural cottage with large garden 10 minutes from Zoo Beauval

The gîte is situated in the Loire-et-Cher area of France about 5 kilometres from the picturesque medieval town of Saint Aignan-sur-Cher. In the gîte you will find a double bedroom with child's cot and travel cot and a twin bedded room with floor mattress, both with panoramic views over the large garden. The living room has a TV, settee and electric heating for the winter months. A DVD player, adult's and children's books and various indoor games. The integral kitchen is well equipped with the usual appliances; microwave, kettle, coffee maker, toaster, hob oven and fridge.The dining area can seat 6 people plus a high-chair. There is a shower room and a separate toilet. There is also a washing machine and ironing board. Outside you will find a large garden, for your sole use, with a childrens playhouse, boules, garden furniture and a barbecue for outdoor eating. A push chair is available.

Wonderfull gîte

We had a great stay in the gite. The garden was wonderfull and the family was very friendly. The location of the gîte is great; nice and quit but still not far away from visiting sites. We visited beauval zoo (magnificent!), Blois, Selles sur Cher etc. Our children, 7, 2, 2 slept very well in their own cosy room. We ourselves bumped our heads a few times on the first floor (the doors are not made for tall dutch folk :-)) Wifi was not always at its best, but the owners did their best tot sort it out with the internet provider. We hope to see you again sometime Nigel and Andrea. Thanks for a splendid few days.

La maison était très propre à notre arrivée, et les hôtes sont particulièrement à l’écoute et disponibles.L’emplacement est idéal pour visiter la région, tout en profitant d’un cadre calme et reposant. La literie de la chambre adulte est très confortable, ce qui permet de vraiment se sentir en vacances.Le jardin est également un vrai plus, très agréable pour se détendre.Seul petit bémol : l’absence de lave-vaisselle, qui aurait été appréciable pour un séjour en famille.

Nous avons passé quelques jours en famille dans le gîte de Kate. Quel régal ! Nous avons pu profiter du jardin extraordinaire et de la proximité avec une multitude de sites culturels (Chateau, zoo de Beauval). La région est magnifique ! Nous reviendrons avec joie !

Calme et confort

Logement spacieux et confortable, très bien équipé et impeccable. La charpente apparente à l'étage est remarquable, on se croirait presque dans "la forêt" de Notre Dame ! Le jardin est superbe. L'extérieur est aménagé de façon à préserver l'intimité, les hôtes occupent le logement mitoyen et sont d'une discrétion absolue tout en restant disponibles si besoin. Supermarché à 10mn en voiture, zoo à 15-20mn. Le Cher et le canal du Berry à quelques minutes à pied. Excellente localisation. Merci pour ce séjour !
