A restful and beautiful beach getaway.

We had a wonderful experience. The house is well-maintained and comfortable. The pool was right outside our door which made it great for our kids. The beach is a short walk (approx. 5 minutes) away. And the homeowner was responsive to our needs...even on the July 4th holiday. An overall great place to stay!

Great Stay!

We had a great time in Surf City. The complex is in a great location and just a short walk to the beach. The unit was stocked with a lot of essentials to get us started for the week. It is nicely decorated, spacious and clean. This was our first time visiting. We’ll be back!

Great place to lay your head

Loved the place and location. Pros, very clean, great communication, plenty of room. Had couple small issues and was resolved quickly. Cons, upstairs doesnt cool well, about 70 degrees. Had so much family fun and owner was awesome.

I moved to North Carolina from Brazil in 1997 to help my twin sister, a young widow, care for her niece. I have lived in Raleigh and Wake Forest since. Today I share a home with my husband - Alec ( New Yorker born), my 12- year old daughter - Molly, and 2 cute dogs, an adorable cockapoo - Scooter, and the newest member of the Family, a cute Yorkie - Oliver who is absolutely my passion.

Why they chose this property

in 2018 ( my husband and I) decided to sell a long term rental property and buy a vacation rental. This way we could still own a rental but had the opportunity to enjoy it.
We started looking at the entire coast of NC. My first search was in Emerald Isle where I have visited with friends - a calm area but I bit further from home. Then Carolina Beach - a very busy area but closer to home.
My Fabulous agent sent us this property and we fell in love. Calm area and quite as Emerald Isle and close proximity to home as Carolina Beach.

What makes this property unique

Our first thought was that we want a property in close proximity to the beach and/or beach access. This home sits on a complex right on the beach. Its right on the city line of Surf City and North Topsail.
I loved the option of master with the living areas on top floor and the other bedrooms on second floor. I am sure you will love it too. The layout and open floor plan was just what we were looking for.
