Remodeled Lake House

Come relax and enjoy all that Honeoye Lake and the surrounding Finger Lakes have to offer at this newly remodeled 900 sq. ft. cottage. The house features two bedrooms, a large living room with plenty of natural light, and an enclosed porch. The house is located just steps from the lake and you have access to a dock and 2,000 pound limit boat hoist.

There is a community park a short walk away that has a beach, playground, swings, small basketball court, and plenty of open land.

The house is conveniently located at the north end of the lake. The town of Honeoye is less than a five-minute drive away and features quaint restaurants and shops. The surrounding area has many things to see and do.

Great family cottage with lake views

This is our 2nd visit and loved the clean, cozy cottage! Nice lake views from kitchen table and sun room porch. Inside is super cute with all the base kitchen needs. Outside porch has a lake view and dock with boat slip makes for a great trip.

A nice short stay at Honeoye Lake

Proprty is in excellent location having beautiful views of the lake from various rooms inside the house. Inside was very nice and clean, However outside patio area was not clean and was not usable. All patio furnitures were very dusty and dirty. Owner was very accomodating of our needs and very nice to deal with.

This is the second time we've rented this cottage, so, obviously, we enjoyed the first time enough to come again. The owner is laid back and pleasant to work with. The cottage is well appointed, has a great, level lot. We all enjoyed the covered picnic area, too. We recommend this highly.

Lovely lake, peaceful setting

Property was right on the lake as described. Nice area. Peaceful. Close to other lakes too. Only issue is mini blinds were all broken, windows did not lock properly. I am from a large metropolitan area where security is essential.

Great Cottage

Because of the pandemic, we decided we wanted a place where we could have company but still social distance. This place is perfect. We had up to 10 family members visiting at a time. There's plenty of outdoor space, and for my elderly mom, it's on a level lawn. The inside is very nicely done, clean and comfortable. We were all very happy with it. Thank you for sharing your cottage with us.

ke house weekend getaway

My sister and I just wanted a quiet weekend. No kids, dogs, housework...this was perfect. Beautiful view of the lake, reading, walking and relaxing. Spotless home facing honeoye lake. Saw a baby deer, ducks, geese. Quiet, after the season. Some homeowners doing cleanup but otherwise quiet and beautiful. Close to a store...if you forget something. Less than an hour from Rochester. Was perfect.

Honeoye Getaway

Well first and foremost the host is very responsive and helpful. Like many others stated the outside is well not so appealing. But the inside is all new, clean and updated. Guess thats the most important. Would give it a solid 10 if the outside was updated, cleaned and painted. If there during heavy rains watch out for the flooding in patio area and entryway,

Hidden Gem

We had a great trip to see the great elipse of 2024. The house is not eye catching from the outside but is clean, spacious and comfortable inside. Nice and welcoming decors and everything you need. Large enough to have several local family members for my dad's birthday cookout. Nice grill and firepit for roasting marshmallows. The view at sunset is amazing! The lake is just across the small gravel road so you are right there. Grocery store just up the road and highly recommend Top Shelf Pizza around the corner. A few things to be aware of is that the neighborhood has very narrow gravel streets and is packed tightly together so you don't get a private feel. It wasn't an issue for us as we enjoyed meeting the passersby and petting all the dogs, but some guests may be looking for a more isolated feel. Also if you are coming during colder months, I recommend bringing some extra blankets because it's set up more for summer guest. Overall, a great trip and would totally visit again!

Little Gem

The property is as listed. The inside of cottage is very nice and comfortable. The outside space could use a little TLC to make it a bit more enjoyable. The only water access is the narrow dock. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend for a couple or small family.
